Re: Divine alignment stability

I think they had an issue claim they were upgrading, maybe only to 3.5 Yeah, that was the very first issue, where they upgraded to 3.5E. I've followed it irregularly since a few years back, so I had to see the older issues randomly, I wonder if there will ever be a call back to when they were 2nd e...

Re: Divine alignment stability

Order of the Stick is still 3rd Edition. Which kind of highlights how long that comic has been running, as 3E has been defunct for 11 years now. (Looking it up, it seems Order of the Stick is a whopping 17 years old! Man, it's almost old enough to vote. Oh, now I feel really old...) I think they ha...

Re: Diversity changes

That they focus on innocent words when they could be focusing on more important features Such as...? The vistani being untrustworthy no matter how much you sugar coat the words used to describe them, stuff like that. But that in this game, even worse is in real life the cops that kill people for th...

Divine alignment stability

I don't know how many of you follow "order of the stick" and whether that webcomic is based on 3rd or 5th edition (They started as 3rd edition but I think they may have changed) and I am a 2nd edition guy myself... But in the aforementioned source of joy and mirth there is a storyline of d...

Re: Diversity changes

Hahaha, that's so faqing ridiculous Which part is ridiculous, and what is ridiculous about it? That they focus on innocent words when they could be focusing on more important features (and Ezmerelda is not a name, the name is Esmeralda, and its Spanish not Romanian thus not vistani) It's something ...

Re: Diversity changes

Other NPCs have some changes to their description as well: Ezmerelda, an NPC with a lower leg prosthesis (having replaced it after a werewolf bite), no longer “takes care to hide it from view,” and is not implied to be ashamed of it. And in the Haunted One background, the wording on one of the bond...

Re: Books - Good and Bad

I recommend this little known sci fi book (I never finishe reading it but I was too busy, I still recommend it): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/War_with_the_Newts its author introduced the word "robot" into the world even before robots were a thing (although automatons already were a thing)...

Just a note, it should either be Villaquemada or Villarquemado, to keep coherence between the genders, both would be odd surnames but they work as ancient Spanish

Re: NPC/World Generator

Sages and Specialists should contribute to it. Do you just mean in terms of including the various specialist NPC classes? That's a good idea. Will add that to my spec. That's exactly what I had in mind (sorry for the delay, my laptop's cooling fan wasn't working and I couldn't use the laptop until ...

Re: Opinions on Premade Settings

For those of you who do steal from other settings, what kind of stuff to you steal? For me, it's maps. I rip off maps constantly, from just about everywhere. Not just modules, but even videogames. I once ran an entire dungeon from Skyrim. It's not that I can't draw maps; I mean, I can't draw them w...
