Re: Deep thought of the day:

Does anyone else feel like the world we are living in today is not the one we are supposed to be living in? Things are just off, and have been for the past several years. It's like a video game where someone has installed a bunch of unauthorized mods which are interacting with each other in unexpec...

Re: Intercompany crossovers (preferably comics)

By TNG you mean Star Trek: The Next Generation? That's something I gotta see. YES  but I was incorrect. It was STO and they even had action figures. Sorry, the only comics I ever read were TMNT when I was a kid. And I don't remember them ever having crossovers. Jaded, I found a fun read from 20...

Re: Intercompany crossovers (preferably comics)

In comics I recall the DC/Marvel crossover in the 1990's.

Hmn board games had some too. Munckin was prone to doing many.

Firefly is not nationalistic. I was trying to make a joke and failed.

I asked because I'm looking into Dead Reckoning and wanted to gather people's thoughts.
Figured some folks here might have experiences they would be willing to share.

Re: Live action superhero, fantasy and sci fi shows

I am afraid Agent Carter may be too nationalistic, shades of that appear in agents of shield now and then but the show makes up for that with all the cool storylines involving powers mightier than those of humans, I finished watching deep space nine earlier this year... What's B5? I may need to che...

Re: Live action superhero, fantasy and sci fi shows

I enjoyed Agent Carter, but then again look at the time period it is set in. I was watching most of the DC shows on the WB, but became board with them. I went back to DS9 & Firefly. Considering dusting off BSG & B5.

LOL ... someone is feeling chatty. :o Thank you for the advance warning. No little ones in my household, so all is safe. :D :orc: Yes they made a boardgame based on the cartoon. If you are familiar with the game Candyland, it plays similar to that. It was called Quest for the Dungeonmaster If you we...

Re: Internet around the world.

I'm in what city folk call the country. While it may have been country and ranches decades ago, it no longer is. People move out here and commute a hour or more to work in the city, then complain they don't have all the luxuries. So ... they build them and suburbia expands. I've lived in a variety o...
