Well if 5E is less byzantine than 2E, then I'll go on record as preferring the pre-historic versions before 2E. The original and its modules will always have a soft spot with me.

From my perspective, currently next to a major metro area with about as many people a Lima in approximately 6,900 square miles (18,000 km2) of land.
