Nocturno will answer the questions, but will not prolong small talk with the guard.

Jordek will keep quiet for the most part, mostly because he will exist within the pie. (It's been awhile since he's had a decent pastry) Once the pie is delivered Chitt makes his appearance, his own comfort level calming as Jordek's does. The two of them will be lost in the world of pie. Mmm.. Pie...

[Sorry for the delays]

Tag continues conversing a little while they wait on their food, getting details on the location and size of the lair they recently cleared and making surprised and approving comments about their success. He also ask about their next plans for the goblin chief/ main lair, and gives them relevant information about the town and supplies to be had, and answers any questions.

Once the meals come, he politely excuses himself and mentions he will stop by tomorrow in case they need anything. The pies arrive piping hot, but a quick break in the crust and they cool to edible thresholds with little delay. The shepherd's pie is filled with perfectly stewed carrots, potatoes, peas and naturally small cubed bits of lamb; a perfectly savory and filling fare. The Blackberry pie is at once tart but with a hint of sweetness, and the crust itself is a crispy golden shield that releases the warm, moist aromas once broken.

Chitt skitters out from Jordek's clothes, and makes his way to the bounty. Pulling back a section of Jordek's crust, he finds the delicious fruity innards stuck to the underside. Like a tiny baked tray, he piles more berry-goodness on it and nibbles away. The waitress looks surprised and worried for a moment. But, when the small squirrel is clearly well behaved and obviously accompanying the Gnome, she simply grins and asks permission to give him a little scritch on the head.

===

Did the two of them want to do anything else tonight?

Maybe look around if there are any alchemists that would be grateful enough for the return of the folks to supply him with a couple healing potions.

Otherwise he will wash up and rest on a comfy bed(Hopefully)

Jordek smiles widely and gives an affirming nod to the waitress's query. He is content to spend time in the common area, letting the conversations and chatter of the other patrons wash over him for awhile before heading to the promised rest.

The dinner is quite filling and the remainder of the evening passes uneventfully. The pair find their room with two comfortable and clean looking beds, a wash stand, and a single window with shutters.

Tag could inform him that any such magical concoctions might be attainable at the Keep, and he can meet them there in the morning to help them gain entry and find their way to the apothecary.

[Mic check.]

Morning comes early and after a good night's sleep in real beds, the Elf and Gnome feel quite refreshed.

====
what spells would the pair of clerics like to have prepared for the day?

Nocturno's prayers will be asking for a full compliment of Cure Light Wounds, they seem to be popular lately.

Once awake, he will have a quick breakfast after collecting this things.

He will try to find the a place that would have potions available. He would be after a potion of Heroism, and healing potions if he has money left.

In his way he will try to be subtle about how he had helped rescue the folks, but it will likely come out clunky and braggy as it usually does from an elf to a human.

After the pair prepare themselves for the day and break the fast, Nocturno leads them off to the Keep itself.

Tag meets them there (based on conversation with Nocturno the night before) and escorts them past the guards to the interior. The keep itself is almost like a small town all it's own, but with an exceptionally orderly and militant air about it. The guardsman leads them through a series of turns and corridors; the layout of the keep seemingly intentionally confusing. Eventually he reaches an apparent dead end, but knocks on a section of wall. After a moment, the stonework opens to reveal a secreted shop!

All manner of concoctions line various pieces of railed shelving. Stones glowing with a magical light populate the room giving it a bright feel. A robed human man in the back pours over a text while grinding something with mortar and pestle. He glances up as they arrive, blinking at the sight of the forest Gnome and Elf, then returning to his concentration. Well, new visitors... how interesting. he says in Elven. He introduces himself as Calan Martins as he lays a ribbon to mark his place and turns his attention towards the visitors.

=====
He has both potions of healing and of heroism, among other things.
Healing 200 gp (possibly as low as 150 with some persuasive haggling)
Heroism 300 gp (down to 225)

So it looks like Nocturno has roughly the equivalent of 104 gold, plus his cut from the latest haul of 47 would get him just enough to buy a healing potion if the haggling works. To get the Heroism potion he'd have to find some other moneys (perhaps if his friendly neighborhood Gnome is feeling generous enough to loan him some.) or if there is some task or other he could barter into the deal

After enquiring about the prices, he recounts his money in his head.

He looks around, and asks if there is a discount for each hostage brought back to town.

He will speak in elven, thinking he is being polite, but he also won't be able to help and make sure to over pronounce any words the human may have pronounced even a bit wrong.

He will then ask "I would much rather purchase a Potion of Heroism, but I am a bit light on the coin. Is there a task you need completed that could help my cause?"

Jordek pipes up in Elven and politely inquires if Calan has any teas he would be willing to part with as Chitt chitters excitedly from his customary perch atop the gnomes head before burrowing back into Jordeks wild mass of hair.

The mage seems quite fluent in Elven, leaving little if anything for Nocturno to correct. As he asks about the hostages returned, Tag mentions to Calan that Lord Ulfbert asked them to aid the pair as they are able, and that Nocturno would likely be using the items to continue the assault on the goblins. Calan nods, and considers the Fighter-cleric's mention of other tasks. As the shop belongs to the Keep, i can really only accept things or work to further the shop's ends itself. However, supplies suitable for crafting scrolls or potions would be helpful. Things like Cockatrice quills, troll's blood, gorgon or basilisk scales, gargoyle horns, etcetera.

Calan seems a little confused by the Gnome's question. Teas...? I'm afraid not. The barracks kitchen might have something.

==
Discounts applied, so the potions would be sold basically at cost.

Nocturno clears his throat, and looks to the Gnome.

"Freiend." He says with an uneasy grin. "Would you be able to loan me 75 gold pieces. I wish to purchase a Potion of Heroism, I fear the encounter with the creature in that cave will be much harder than our Feliz friend hopes it will be."

Placeholder post.
I need to check and see if Jordek partook of any looting to see if he has money to lend.
