Smiling widely, Jim locks eyes with X4 while hitting X3 in the side of the head with his mace To Hit: [1d20+6] = 17+6 = 23 , Mace Damage: [1d6+4] = 5+4 = 9 and follows up with a knee to X3's midsection To Hit: [1d20+6] = 20+6 = 26 , Unarmed Damage: [1d4+4] = 1+4 = 5 and here is the additional crit damage [1d4] = 3

Round 4
Alecia pulls a scroll out from her belt and from which she casts a curative spell on Jim, healing him completely.

Jim taunts the large javelin thrower while laying into the 'minion' [X3] with an awesome martial combination attack [17 crush damage]. The weakened foe is promptly put to Sleep by Nix!
The hairy antagonist slides easily to the ground, whistling in his sleep as he does so. This gives Sue the height advantage he needs to deliver yet more aggravation to the sleeping biped [6 slash to X3] who is rudely awakened and looks around wide-eyed and confused.

Woody's Ray of Frost just catches the javelin thrower [7 cold damage to X4] as the latter bends over to wake his Sleeping kinsman before moving 10' closer to the group. He now clutches a nasty-looking morningstar. Its spikes appear to be covered with some sort of gray gunge.

Both of the former Sleepers are awake but both are still prone.

Actions for round 4 ?

======
Inits:
17 Alecia
15 Jim
14 Nix
12 Woody
11 Tall, hairy stranger [X1]: prone but awake
7: Tall, hairy stranger [X4]
6 Sue: Protection prepared as reaction
3: Tall, hairy stranger [X3]: prone but awake

Woody Ray of Frost at X4 once again.
[1d20] = 2 + 5 = 7

[1d8] = 1 damage

If Woody can move behind Nix he will to try to get some cover from any thrown weapons.

"Good idea" Jim slams his mace down into X3's head again (pretty sure Jim has advantage due to prone condition and Jim is within 5ft) To Hit: [1d20+6] = 5+6 = 11 , Mace Damage: [1d6+4] = 2+4 = 6 and advantage hit roll Advantage hit [1d20+6] = 3+6 = 9

And the followup throat chop To Hit: [1d20+6] = 6+6 = 12 , Unarmed Damage: [1d4+4] = 3+4 = 7 with the advantage hit roll Advantage hit [1d20+6] = 18+6 = 24

"Sue could you take the big guy with the morningstar?"

"Yeah. I've got him. If this one goes down, move around behind the others when you can."
Sue will move around X3 to be on the opposite side of it as Jim. If X3 is already down Sue will hold his attack for the next foe to approach in his range.

Not one for hitting the guy who is down, but Sue will take a swipe out of the prone X3 as he squares up to X4, awaiting his approach.

Snarling "C'mon you big bastard."

Longsword: To hit: [1d20+5] = 1+5 = 6 Damage [1d8+3] = 2+3 =5
Advantage die: [1d20] = 19 +5

Alecia awaits developments, scroll in one hand, mace in the other.

Meanwhile the three hairies snarl and bark.

[lol, using the warlock for cover?]
[also, why are we hitting sleeping opponents?]

Nix directs an Eldritch blast at the most injured-looking prone victim that is still alive when it comes to his turn. otherwise he will direct it at the nearest active opponent.

====
nix eld blst hit, dmg [1d20+6] = 13+6 = 19, [1d10] = 10
sweet

Round 4

Alecia waits and watches still holding mace and scroll.
Jim misjudges his assault on the nearest prone foe and hits the stone floor with his mace but recovers his balance with a lethal straight-finger chop to the upraised hairy throat [7 crush damage to X3]. The hairy throat emits a final croak as its owner collapses for a final time.

As Jim bends to strike the prone foe Nix has a clear view up the corridor and flings a beam of cracking energy that blasts a chunk of leather and blood from the remaining still-moving prone foe [10 force damage to X1]. The creature yelps and snarls; both remaining foes seem focused on Nix. Woody tries to chill the larger foe but mistimes it and puts a tiny frost patch on the southern wall.

The scorched hairy stranger [X1] stands, picks up his morningstar and advances towards Nix attempting to strike Jim out of the way. Sue manages to deflect the blow harmlessly with his shield [reaction]. Meanwhile the massive, lumbering leader [X4] pulls out its final javelin and makes another massive throw, this time nailing Nix in the shoulder [despite +5AC; 10 pierce damage]. Nix drops like a stone. Alecia cries, "Nix!!", adding in a more controlled tone, "It's ok, I can manage; Nix will be fine."
Sue makes a half-hearted swing with his longsword [X1], only cutting the air.

Sue will either lace into X1, or slash at X4 if he has closed rank.

"What in the hells happened back there? Jim we better drop this one fast. Woody blast that big hairball, get him to come over here!"

Longsword: To hit: [1d20+5] = 12+5 = 17 Damage [1d8+3] = 5+3 = 8

Sue saves his reaction to help defend Jim.

"Can do" Jim launches himself back at X1 mace leading To Hit: [1d20+6] = 8+6 = 14 , Mace Damage: [1d6+4] = 3+4 = 7 and following up with a fist To Hit: [1d20+6] = 19+6 = 25 , Unarmed Damage: [1d4+4] = 4+4 = 8
If this takes down X1 (and I really hope it does) Jim points his mace at X4 and just glares at him...

Woody sends another Ray of Frost at X4. "Eat ice you hairy piece of crap."
[1d20] = 13 + 5 = 18
Damage: [1d8] = 1 (I'm the king of rolling ones).
His speed is reduced by 10 feet.

Nix, Woody was not trying to hind behind you. He was trying to get some 1/2 cover (+2 to AC) from a javelin through by potentially get some coverage from the wall.

Alecia drops the scroll and grips her iconic coin to cast a curative spell on Nix [+5HP].

[suuuuure counterkid, suuure ;) ]

if nix is up on his init count he will stay prone (disadvantage on ranged attacks on a prone char, yes?) and fire another bolt at the leader from his 'comfortable' but blood-soaked place on the floor.

===
nix eld blst hit, dmg [1d20+6] = 4+6 = 10, [1d10] = 1

lol.
