Post character descriptions here. The character description must include the following:

Name:
Race:
Character Archetype: (Warrior, Rogue, Mage, Devout)
Gender:
Age:
Height:
Physical Description:

Strength:
Dexterity:
Constitution:
Intelligence:
Spirit*:
Perception**:

Possessions:

All attributes are rolled using 4d6, dropping the lowest d6 roll. Roll seven times and drop the lowest score. Arrange the remaining six totals in any order of your choosing. For ease of reference, Spirit and Perception will be explained below.

*Spirit: this attribute denotes how in tune the character is to the metaphysical world of deities, demons, and otherworldly beings. This attribute is typical of both priests AND artists, as well as a useful addition to woodsmen and any character who desires an Iron Will. High enough Spirit will allow a devout character to directly commune with their deity on occasion, and grant other characters divine favor periodically when intervention is necessary

**Perception: this attribute is a measure of a character's awareness of the world around them. It includes vision, other sensory input, and the intuition to search out and find hidden objects. If this attribute it raised high enough, a character can grow to seemingly have a "6th sense", making them difficult to ambush. Perception is the primary attribute for ranger-type characters, archers, and 'trap-finding' type rogues.

A story is forming in the back of my mind, but it brought forth more questions: Are Devouts just pious normal people, or do they have spells as clerics do? If so, are there limits to the players's choice? Do the wisdom bonuses apply to the "Spirit" stat?

Devout can range from very religious people to trained clergy members to paladin-esque characters.

While they do not have spells like clerics in D&D, they are able to ask for divine favor through prayers, whether short "May the Light give us strength to crush our foes!" to full fledged rituals of faith. While it's not likely that a single individual can call down a Pillar of Fire, they are able to petition the gods for their influence. The more tenants of faith you RP, and the higher your spirit, the more lenient I am with the results of prayers.

Spirit is indeed like Wisdom. Character attributes are do not grant bonuses in this game since it is free-form RP, but it does give you an idea of how good your character is at certain things, and it gives me a baseline idea of how to determine outcomes.

Dexterity: 12
Constitution: 16
Intelligence: 9
Spirit*: 11
Perception**: 13

Hailing, as I do, from the home town of a certain rock star who shall remain nameless, I must call "shenanigans" on the name of your character, Kafen. :)
