If to left to his own, Pytor will indeed relieve himself and take a morning constitutional before looking for a stream. If he finds one, he will douse his face and drink from the cool water. Then promptly retch his innards before returning to the group.

Ubeknownst to Pytor at first, Artanis follows half-way and keeps a lookout over the surroundings. When the gypsy begins to make his way back to the others, the ranger makes the barest acknowledgement of it, You good? Once confirmed, he makes no other mention of the incident.

I would have asked sooner if I had thought about it since returning. Although he is penniless at the moment, could Pytor have picked up an old violin to begin practicing on? It could be old and discarded or stolen if the opportunity presented itself to his gypsy eyes.

Assuming no actions from the party circumvent his intentions and there is a nearby stream: Pytor will quickly feed and water Satâr de Ceaţă, promising to brush her coat in a short while. He will then grab his hammer and walk to the stream. From there he will make his way downstream a short distance from where the party collects their water. He will rinse out his shirt and douse his head in the cool water. If a pool of adequate depth (four feet deep should be enough for bathing) is there, he will hang his shirt on a branch and strip down to give himself a full rinsing off.

Fuming at the destruction of what he considered a work of art, Pytor had to take a few moments to compose himself. Deep down he knew it wasn't just the carelessness with the golden mace that bothered him so. How long had he denied himself neither drink nor companion? He hungered for both and feared which would be easiest to sate.

“A knight here? Of course there would be in this accursed land.” Pytor remembered seeing knights once as a child and why the caravan always posted alarms and guards. He could still hear the sounds as man, woman, and child was ran down and trampled underhoof. A full third of the caravan perished or was lost that night. The survivors were scattered to the wind for days before finally regrouping in a neighboring land. “Knights were never better than their lords and usually worse.”

[Good character insight. Thank you]

Adrestia senses her brother's uneasiness... her already wary gaze focuses on the armed and armored newcomer with more scrutiny
