Re: BishGada (Private thread) Labyrinth of Madness

==== Ah, yeah the Animate Dead Monster requirements... The area in the valley is pretty small so it probably can't accomodate too many huge predators. There are carnivorous apes though (5 HD) that ADM specifically calls out. There may be some bears as well. Polar bears would exist outside the valley ...

Re: BishGada (Private thread) Labyrinth of Madness

===== Lord Torath is correct, the camp is built around the entrance. They could disguise or make them invisible in some way. Even if they understood your sentences, you wouldn't understand their language responses. But as for knowing a little about creatures from prior discussions, what creature are ...

Re: Labyrinth OOC

The original bodies were removed by someone other than the party. New trolls were killed by the elemental and later found by Jag/ Landro when they went back to scout. I may not have made that as clear as I could have

sure, Reduce could be used to make one of the rings small enough for someone to wear for the duration of the Reduce spell. Once that wears off any effect would end

correct, the troll zombies cannot use the rings.

Anyone who wants to can carry the scepter. I don't think anyone has claimed it yet really so we can just say Allikhain has it.

Re: BishGada (Private thread) Labyrinth of Madness

[ooc]Love the detailed descriptions. I am running into a little pickle with the undead. The juju zombie descriptions imply they have some memories from life and the rationality to be strategic etc. But if their minds are basically the same but subservient, then they don't speak common and can't ...

Re: Labyrinth OOC

The area is basically undiscovered before now. The valley itself is about 2 miles wide and 10 miles long and surrounded by high, impassable mountains aside from the one narrow winding pass on the far end that the caravan entered. There is no map, the module is mostly supposed to be a dungeon crawl ...

Re: Labyrinth OOC

Whether he wants more days to rest or not, the fact remains: The party went into the dungeon and killed a bunch of stuff then left. The burned trolls being removed should also be a hint that this fact was noticed by something in the cave. Every day away is time for the enemy to do stuff too. Just ...

Re: BishGada (Private thread) Labyrinth of Madness

====== The spell description specifies normal animals and their giant varieties, meaning things that do or have existed in real life. This means no Aurumvorax, no Manscorpion, no 5-armed boar-faced primate looking thing with a long tail ('squealer'). Smilodons (sabre tooth tiger) and dinosaurs are ...

Re: Labyrinth OOC

Having the chapter written as a novel style story seems kind of neat. Not sure the AI is currently up to the task Yeah, the BS scientific papers worry me; though I have never come across one when actively researching that I know of. I would hope it would be obvious enough to someone in the subject ...
