Re: Labyrinth OOC
Not sure why I didn't think of detect traps when setting the spells up but I didn't Plus Jag is not keen on being on the scouting.

maximum splatitude
I am stealing that one.

Re: Labyrinth OOC
So, to confirm, we have 1 that "fell" into the door.
2 more that are glittered standing on the floor.
And Jag got his Mirror Image off.
Is the glittery covering good enough to get an idea of the foe?

Re: Labyrinth OOC
Correct
The glitter makes them basically visible. It is a Large sized lanky bipedal humanoid with a long pole-like weapon. If you want to make an int or wis check to try to puzzle out exactly what creature, you can.

Re: Labyrinth OOC
How many cries are distinguishable? Clattering of rods? Do we see more glitter monsters fall?
You are talkin' to the holy symbol wearing,

Re: Labyrinth OOC
Does the detect magic of the Quasit, shared with the wizard and Ke'Sha discover the creatures?

Re: Labyrinth OOC
Detect magic does not reveal Invisible creatures, Detect Invisibility would.
Axid, let's get a Detect Noise check, for a non-rogue Dwarf it's 15%
Jag, Invisible Trolls!!!

Animate Flame

Could I use this to use Axid's Flaming Sphere on my turn as well, but let him control it as normal on his turn?
Would the strength drain work to eliminate trolls?

Re: Labyrinth OOC
So, Jag could attempt to sieze control of Axid's flame after he moved it for instance: Axid makes flame, moves it to t6 and burns it. Jag 'Take Hold of the Flame' (Queensryche) and move it over both t8 and p8 to burn both of them
It will count as 'large camp fire' 1d6 dmg and would no longer need a fuel source to survive moving
normally Jag would need to make the opposed roll (axid lvl 16 vs Jag lvl 12. Would need 11+4=> 15 or higher to sieze control. But since this seems like a fun cool thing and Axid is drawing from a natural fire (the burning troll) i'll say no roll is needed ^_^
As for the Shadows, yes their strength drain can affect the trolls and/or puddings (any living thing not immune to negative plane energy)

Re: Labyrinth OOC
Is Jag stealing control or sharing control?
The Shadows seem like a good way to finish off trolls when you have a stack of them, and no camp fire lol.

Re: Labyrinth OOC
He would have to steal control for it to move like 'animate flame' describes and to survive more than 1 round without fuel. But he would wait until Axid creates the fire and uses it to steal so basically you would both get to attack with it this turn. But once you take control he can't get it back b/c at that point it is magical fire
Re: Labyrinth OOC
Ok, well. Let's see how that goes over lol.
