Is Neutralize Poison "fast enough" to cast the round after someone is poisoned? It's not like I can help with save or die poison anyway, right?

yeah, so it all depends on the poison onset time. If the time is immediate then it would not save them from having to make a saving throw. If the onset time were longer than immediate and he got to them in 1 round it would prevent needing to roll the save.

Furthermore, if someone died from poison, it would be necessary to neutralize it before bringing them back or they might die again (depending on the type)

Galan did the night before the adventure. he only had enough slots to get 4 people, then used one slot this morning on himself. The Mondoons and Faldair have iterations that will expire at 8pm day 1 (current time is 7:10pm day 1). Galan's iteration was cast this morning, and will last until 8am day 2.
