Chapter 1 - Waterdavian Affairs

Ah, a Magister. I see. Yes, i suppose you speak Elven more... i don't suppose you speak the language of devils? he asks, indicating his horns. Well-met sir! I haven't had much contact outsode of my Patron, but i'm glad to meet you.

Thinking, Nix pokes his head out and gives 'Alecia' a small signal that it is clear and she can join if she likes. I may know a city watchman who can help get you in to see a Magister.

If Alecia joins them, he introduces her. This is my close friend Alecia, priestess of Tymora. And to her, This is one master Isaril of the forest people. He and his people serve Rillifane Rallathil. He needs help meeting with a Magister to see the Nadar family.

[Hmm, the only hint i have is Nadar, but it may be a typo somewhere.

Alecia steps towards the booth nervously, her deep brown almost black eyes scanning the area like a nervous doe, she slides in alongside Nix with a soft breath and places a hand on the table, leather armor creaking as she does so. Shaking her long brown hair so it partially covers her eyes, her other hand slips inside her jacket while turning her rounded face in his direction..

"Alecia Legan, would be Cleric of Tymora. You are the Sylvan?" She places a hand over Nix's for a brief moment then listens.

Isaril replies in common.

"I am Sy-Tel-Quessir. The pleasing is owned by me, A-leeshaleggan. You friend have of Magister? Would that I could Meet him. I do not know The Hells Nine language. Have horns, you are like a deer."

Once again, his expression is fairly flat and doesn't display any particular emotion.

[Jenara]

"Would it be easier if we talked in your language?" Alecia asks in Elven, the musical tones falling off her lips easily, "You are of the Forest?" She asks shifting in closer to Nix, openly talking his hand in hers.

[Hamlett]

"Ah how magnificent! you speak the language the People most eloquently!"

[Jenara]

"Indeed." Alecia replies placing her fingers across the bridge of her nose, "You want to Meet a Magister, may I ask why?"

Like a a deer? Nix blinks, feeling the short spiral horns atop his head. He grins sideways, I suppose that's one way of looking at it. Better than someone screaming 'demon!' when they see me. he chuckles.

Nix accepts Alecia's hand, simply enjoying the closeness. He mentioned earlier he needed a Magister to see the Nandar family. I thought our friend the 'watchman' might be able to get him to a magister... pausing a moment he turns to the Sylvan, I'm curious, what did you need with the Nandar anyway?

[Jenara]

“A Deer?” Alieca giggles, “Well you certainly do have the Horn.” She giggles louder, blushing as she does so, “Sorry that was inappropriate. Please tell me in Elven if if is easier, and I’ll translate.” She adds in Elven, Wrapping her fingers with Nix.

[Hamlett]

"Yes, or perhaps a forest caribou. They keep trying to chop down the forest and i intend to ask them to stop."

Any humour or inappropriateness seems to be completely lost on him.

[Jenara]

"My experience hasn't shown me that simply asking gets people to stop. Not at all." Alecia replies, “They have a big house, on of the Mansions to the North, well thats what I heard. I’ve not had much chance to deal with those sorts of people.”

[Hamlett]

Now that he has been talking in Elvish for a few minutes, Isaril becomes a little more expressive, but only slightly.

"How strange, surely these Nandarians will understand if I explain that their actions are upsetting the Balance," he says in a half-question, half-statement. "Perhaps some form of dance-ritual to their chosen Powers will please them and make them amenable."

Nix observes the back and forth, not really able to follow the Elven conversation.
