Re: Out of Character discussion
yeah, sorry
example from earlier combat:
Elden vs BG1 martial arts attk [1d20] = 16,
Hit!
Result 16 = head bash (adjustment provides no improvement)
Elden does 2 dmg chart (head bash) +1 (specialist) + 3 (str) = 6 dmg!
BG1 Dies!

Elden will deliver a body punch to the goblin on his left, and a low kick to the goblin on the right.
================
either 2 or 5 damage to each if hit?
Re: Out of Character discussion
Yeah.. poor goblins will cough up their balls lol
Re: Out of Character discussion
Katten is looking for the hostages, and she figures the rest of you need some Goblins to kill, of course she is fighting her hatred all the way. Any she does encounter are going to get decmimated.
And good, knock some out so we can have a little 'chat'.

Re: Out of Character discussion
The gist of what i said before about unused rolls was that within a combat we will use them. between combats we wont. so a roll lingering at the end of this combat (not the round but the whole encounter), or one made while exploring without any foes in sight wont be used again later. hope that clarifiesChris1234 wrote:Linar moves due north looking weet and then looking NE for an unengaged foe to pot.

Tristan - I think I've previously been told that we use up already rolled 'to hit' rolls as they're queued and also that we don't (as they're too easy to predict.) I actually don't mind which way we do it as long as it stays the same throughout. If you wish me to do a 'To hit', tell me and I will. Thanks.
P.S. I think Dancing Lights is about due to go down.
yes, i noticed after writing the last round that dancing lights should end but didnt want to retcon it

nocturno could always use the 'withdraw' maneuver, which is to cautiously back away 1/3 speed without provokingNocturno wrote:"By the great Protector."
Nocturno will use Incite Beserker Rage on Elden.
"We got new comers, follow me."
If Elden takes out the goblin by them Nocturno will move to cover Linar from the new arrivals.
Otherwise he won't want to get an attack of opportunity done to him, and will stand his ground.

+2 to hit and damage for the duration of the rage. While enraged, the warrior cannot flee from a fight; he cannot leave the field of battle until no enemies face him. Once he does leave the field of battle, he can choose whether or not he will emerge from the rage or sustain it; a warrior would sustain it if he felt that another fight was likely to take place soon. When he emerges from the rage, the warrior takes no extra damage or ill effects.

Not sure of the SpF attached to the Incite Berserker, so the chart could be a few different things.
yes, you apply the to-hit bonuses to the chart.
Re: Out of Character discussion
Right, I knew there was a way in 2e lol..
Ok, so Elden will be acting after the Incite goes off?
