Return [To Madness]: Act 1, Scene 2

A classic 2e Puzzle dungeon for High Level characters
Beware, this one is substantially longer and (IMHO) even harder than the legendary Tomb of Horrors!

"Well better safe than sorry. Want to make sure nothing is untoward in there, then I will help search."

"Yeah, uh sure."

Stephen slowly walks toward the center of the room, paying close attention to the temperature of his talisman.

Ke'Sha shares Gur's sight while both are staying at the door step, scanning the room floor walls and ceiling before stepping in. "Generally I suggest the undead to take the first step in. If they set of something, they are closer to the underworld than the living. But since you are so eager to join them, which will greatly please The Lord, I say - why not, there is room for everyone."

Stephen carefully enters the room, focusing on his talisman. The device does not indicate any hidden hazards.

Ke'Sha scans the room with his familiar's magical sight, which detects a glow from the North half of the West wall. There are no other indications in the room.

A quick search reveals a Door-sized panel in the wall made to look like stone with plaster.

<Thanks, but I don't swing that way.> Stephen shoots Jack a grin. <Seriously, though, I only just picked up this item in the last week. It's new for me, too.>

Mourkol moves to peer beyond the door briefly. There is a hallway beyond. It appears to be unoccupied.

"Less obvious as hiding behind magical radiating pannel, or less obvious as behind normal door?" He gestures for William to try open the door while taking position in the other side of the room and suggesting the others to follow suit.

=========================================
(OOC: Sorry that I'm that thick (even with my 22 WIS), but you said west? in the map, for the dragon room there are marks on the west and east wall. The west opens for a smaller room with no obvious exit and the west to a corridor splitting some distance later, right? So did we open the door towards the eastern corridor or there is another panel in the small western room that has another corridor behind it that doesn't appear in the previous map?
Thanks for the clarification and sorry for the trouble.)

[Ooc] No worries, maps are useful. Here is an updated one :) [/ooc]

William lumbers over and pushes on the area but nothing moves. It seems the door is held in place somehow. The plaster cracks and chips away, revealing the seam of the frame more clearly

blue bar represents the fake secret door with faint magical aura.
