Nidrith responds to her master's question, shaking her head to indicate that there was no other creature here until they arrived.
Stephen notices his amulet is beginning to grow warm.
Jack digs around in the spil by the stairs but finds only dirt and the bottom of the platorm about 3 feet deep

Re: Return [To Madness]: Act 1, Scene 2
<Don't move, Ke'Sha! There's a trap around here somewhere. Can you mentally ask your imp to join us and scout invisibly around the corner ahead? And to see if there's a teleport back to the top of the platform?>
Stephen sends his thoughts to Jag. <Still here! We're at the end of a ten-foot-wide corridor that turns to the left about twenty feet away from us. Nothing seems to be immediately threatening, but there is a trap somewhere nearby. I'd prefer not to make noise, as currently I don't think anyone knows we're here yet. No telling what's around the corner.>
<Nothing's eaten us yet, Jack. There's a trap around here somewhere, though. Think you can locate it?>
==================================================
How high is the ceiling? Are there any light sources? Does the corridor look well-used? For example, is there dust/debris build-up in the corners? Cobwebs crossing the corridor? Any sounds coming from around the corner?

"Sure." Jack will hold his breath and step onto the magical area.

Re: Return [To Madness]: Act 1, Scene 2
[The ceiling in the corridor is 15 feet high. The walls and floor are featureless grey stone similar to other areas of rhe dungeon. The area is unlit]
Jack holds his breath and steps forward into the dirt, he is immediatele relocated to an area of total darkness, but he can hear other figures moving nearby. Steven and Ke'Sha see Jack arrive, appearing beside them.
[If Jack is using the continual light stone the entire area will be brightly lit]

Re: Return [To Madness]: Act 1, Scene 2
"Zoinks, that is dark. Prepare your eyes. I am going to pull out my light stone."
Re: Return [To Madness]: Act 1, Scene 2
"Maybe Axid can use his clairvoyance abilities to spy around the corner. Gur can join us here, but as far as we are not certain if the trap is not on our next step, it starts to be crowded in here." Ke'Sha answers mentally. "If we are certain we have thouroughly explored the previous areas, we need to clear the trap and let everyone here, but I feel we havn't explored these areas enough. For once there was the wall with all the strange symbols, and then the room with the thronslingers, was it only to protect the teleport location or was there something else in the room?"

"I agree, we should explore these areas better first."
======================================================
"Shush everyone! Out of my head, I am trying to concentrate."
Jack starts to examine the floor first.

Re: Return [To Madness]: Act 1, Scene 2
Jack searches the immediate area and soon finds a square shaped pit trap the width of the hallway about 10 feet from the South wall.
Re: Return [To Madness]: Act 1, Scene 2
"Pit Trap. Hold for now."
He will try to see if he can disarm it. By locking up or disabling the trigger, or jamming up the opening. Or if all fails, mark it out so the group can avoid it.
