Martin, with similiar moss upon his person, presses in the pie button......suddenly there is an audible click and the door opens up outwards two inches. Opening the door further will reveal a 10' x 10' area dense with cobwebs, and a stale odor assails the nostrils of anyone near the door.*

*Stepping 2' into this area, one can see a stairway leading downwards which opens up into a 20' wide x 80' long room. There are two doors, one against the far western wall (80' across from the stairway bottom), a second which is on the northern wall located 50' from the stairway bottom*

*Within the room, one can see......well now, you all have to get down there to see, now don't you.*

(OOC - a map will be posted - see page 9)

*The five vials from the treasure area contained the following:
2 potions of cure light wounds
1 potion of diminution
1 potion of invisibility
1 poison-mild

The short sword with the ruby in the hilt is magical, but cannot be used until further into the dungeon to solve another puzzle.*

(OOC - reposted for Jenara and IL; and the door was not trapped, rechecking it for a trap isn't necessary. Please refer to the already posted map if my directions are unclear.)

She'll leave the treasure, she didnt win any of it, unless of course it gets left behind then she'll grab something.

"Ok, fellas, I have a plan, we open the door, chuck in some oil (just a touch) set alight to these cobwebs, cant stand damn cobwebs, makes me think of sipders crawling all over me and attacking from behind." She shudders unconsciousley "I'll take the front, see if there are any nasty traps ahead (like that one in the entrance), you guys cover me what do you say?"

Ignoring the them she pauses, "I need a long stick, something wooden, something to poke ahead without touching the floor...." Producing a small vial of oil she smiles.... "anyone got a match?"

[ooc] if no one responds by the morning she'll go ahead with her plan, is there anything about that would suit her purpose regarding the stick? I would like to wait for the others.... I feel much better in this skin, can you tell????[/ooc]

"Umm.....I DO have a torch. That way you don't burn everything by dousing it with oil." says the brute, a slight scowl on his face.

[OOC: Yes, I realize that most of the place is made of stone. :P ]

"Look, cousin, I would just like to point out a few things:

"A) You come here looking for Fumpo, and you think we are going to give him up to you? He is a frie...well, no. Not a friend. Not really. He is actually a little plick - you know what a 'plick' is? A guy who doesn't leave a tip in an Agatean restaurant, but I digress. Just 'cause he's a plick, that doesn't mean we're about to sell him out to you. Unless you offer us money. Like a lot of money,

"2) This place is dangerous. I saw a hedgehog who insisted he was a duck get himself skewered on a trap and die for no good reason - it was like the life just went out of his eyes suddenly. And he owes me a bunch of silk hankies and now he's dead and good luck getting the blood out of them. And then I got discovered a new hair product that can kill you, right there, within a few feet of where the dwarf who was a hedgehog who said he was a duck bought the farm,

"Third, the wizard, Talks-To-Cat-Food is spouting gibberish all the time, people are appearing and disappearing like dirtypillows on Fat Tiw'sday, and we've got this wolf which keeps showing up and vanishing.

"And now you show up with your attitude, and your threats of violence, and your barking orders and grabbing buttocks-es and with this guy, who looks like one of those cavemen who sell loss-restitution policies, and it's all getting a bit out of hand.

"So you can go get your own bloody stick, if it's all the same."
"No matter where you go, there you are."

"Yeah! What he said! Besides, I don't fetch!" He nods his head assuredly but his defiant gaze is quickly replaced by confusion. "What is 'loss-restitution'?" he asks, looking to the fool for answers.

"The worms crawl in, the worms crawl out. They crawl into your nose, and out of your mouth" * comes a gluttural tune from within the darkness*

"I'm still waiting" *The she-wolf sits near the bottom of the stairway, anticipating the group's arrival and her introduction into their....ahem....next adventure.*

(OOC - to Jenara - the only thing that would equal a long stick would probably be the torches; or you might want to try and steal the wild mage's staff)

"Master jester.." she pats him on the arm "I would never dream of ordering you around? I'd like you to do it willingly. So you can in back to worrying about you ducks or whatever."

Esse ducks out of the room, past the treasure and up the stairs, she'll find a nice tree from beside the road outside, break off a long branch, strip it and return.

"So, got that torch?"

Addressing the rest of the party she'll smile "coming?"

[Ooc]got it covered, hope thats ok? See Brainstorming Thread[/ooc]

Noting Martins face, she looks his way "My good man, there is a 25 gold piece reward on his head, i would be willing to make certain concessions. If you were to help me if he returns.."

Running her hand across his armored chest and smiles "I'm sure we could come to a mutual arrangement that suits all parties"

Sim Glares at Lynesse, clutching his staff to his chest as she darts past him and up the stairs. Snickerpuss flickes her tail at her retreating back, then eyes her as she returns. Snickerpuss seems a little tense in Lynesse's presence.

[ooc] was about to say something utterly inappropriate...[/ooc]

Esse flashes a smile at Snickerpuss, cracks open the door a touch, then pulls the torch from the Bjarg.

Laughing quietly she watches the cobwebs vanish in the flames...
"Can't stand those things... Worms crawling... that sounds really bad, hope they don't get in my hair."

Now the cobwebs have gone, what can she see?

She is standing by the door, which is slightly ajar. I'll wait for the others to catch up.

Beillion moves up. He is still quiet. Although, he watches the new comers with a bit of a half smile on his face. The group is a rather verbose mix of personality types. He lets the others go ahead of him and atays towards the back of the group for healing reasons. Openly, he says. "I'll carry some of the treasure and help with the healing. The wolf seems to demand at least a little caution on our part." He indicates the blood stains on the floor.

Well spoke Bellion, in fact I think it best we devide the items amongst us now in case there is need of them. The mace should go the the cleric and the sword to one of the warriors. I should take the potions and the coin can be divided later amongst all the members. Oh, yes and the late dwarf's axe, I know it is enchanted and the steel strong. Again this should be for one of the warriors.

"I've not used a dwarven axe before, but it can't be much different from others..." Bjarg announces with a shrug. Pointing to the pile of coins he continues, "I didn't earn this treasure, but I'll gladly take what cannot be claimed."

"I didn't earn any of this, but if its going, I'll take a share, I'll take the shortsword for the time being, if it needs a home."

[ooc]Drakes Axe is a two handed Axe +1, straight out of the complete book of dwarves.[/ooc]

"May I suggest I take point, Bjarg behind me with Martin, Sim in the middle and Bellion(?) taking the rear guard? I'll search for traps with this lovely stick." The stick she has is about 4foot long, its mostly leaf free but some remain, a pile of leaves and twigs show where she has been.

(OOC - in response to Lynesse's query)

*The 10' x 10' area has stone walls, floor and ceiling and nothing else; the entire area is not trapped. The stairs, also of solid stone, leading downward are also not trapped; however, a large wolf stands at the bottom of the stairway....watching.*

*Once you all descend, she will describe the contents within the next room.*

(OOC - a map will also be posted with the description)
