Sinister Secret of Saltmarsh (This is the Game Thread)

Amon returns to the kitchen, Dogmeat in tow, to inspect this door Kim found. "Good spot, Mage Kim," he says, kneeling down. "This must have been concealed by another illusion. But it may lead us to the wine cellar."

[Jenara]

Amon manages to expose the edge of the door, but its mostly hidden under the rubble, the same rubble that glows blue for Kim.

"she was a warrior, and" Vee recognize the good quality "either she was very good or she was rich. I've never seen such a brilliant armor!"

"what's that?" Vee point on the pack.

[Breila]

"Be careful, Mage Amon. All this is magical." Kim informs the colleague, but helps to clear the rubble.

"Magical rubble? Unlikely. Or could it be another illusion?" he ponders to himself. He looks at the room in a different perspective, attempting to disbelieve what his eyes tell him to be true.

Amon is quite sure the rubble is real, the wall has indeed collapsed.. After 10 minutes (assuming no one comes to help) the two mages have removed enough rubble to reveal a small wooden hatch, part of it is broken, hence the reason it is noticeable. The floor around appears to have collapsed, it creaks under the weight of the rubble.

Gunter clutches his wound and grimaces.

"What the hell just happened? Are we locked in?"

[HorizonsDream]

"You were locked in. All the doors opened suddenly without any reason. Kim and Amon are in the kitchen checking on Brax and Vee," Echo says as she glances over Gunter's wound. "...Are you okay?" she asks. She wasn't exactly accustomed of asking that question, so it felt weird to her.

[Breila]

"Careful now, we won't help the ladies if we cave in with them" Kim tells Amon, taking a break to consider how best to proceed.

INT check: 1d20=1, oh, good this roll was not in a fight!

[Jenara]

In the Kitchen.
Kim figures she could move the rubble to one side, thus allowing the door to be opened without the floor collasping. It takes ten minutes, but the floor is clear.

Down in the Wine cellar.
Brax pulls a torch from the Paladin's pack, the light fills the cellar suddenly, speaking a few words of magic she looks to the fallen woman once more.

"I think she would want you to wear the armor, its magical, someone should benefit from it." She reaches for the sword, "We will we have to give her a proper burial."

"Whats do you think?"

In the Drawing room.
Echo, Gunter (who is still bleeding) and Searos, stand in the Drawing room, with them are three broken chairs, and the fireplace.

Amon attempts to pull open the door. "Be ready," he says to Kim, wondering what the others are doing that prevented them from coming to help them clean up the rubble.

[Jenara]

The door opens with a sudden creak, Amon can see faint light appearing from below, such as the light from a torch. As he lifts the hatch further a sudden gust of wind overtakes him, knocking him back.

The figure of a young girl appears at the hatch, dressed in a white gown, her face gaunt and pale, she flies through Amon, her appearance filling him with a sense of dread. His whole body freezes as she turns to face him.

"AAGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" The girl screams in his ear, turning to Kim. "Begone, leave this place, unless you wish to end up like me."

With that the ghostly girl flies off, through the open door.

Searos helps get Gunter on his feet. "Come on you big baby. Its not like you've never been shot before. Shake it off and lets go see what sort of trouble the others are getting into."

With that he walks off to find Brax, Vee, Amon, and Kim.

Amon frowns as he tries to smooth out his hair and clothes after that gust of wind. "Someone went through a great deal of trouble to trap this place up and down with illusions. Perhaps those rumors of gold are true after all. It's obvious someone is trying to protect something."

He steps down through the door, looking for the source of that illumination he saw earlier when he first opened it. Dogmeat, as always, stays at his heels.

Vee looks at Brax with big eyes. "You think I can wear this armor?" with outstretched fingers she touches it reverently."You say it is full of magic? I hope that It will fit me."
Vee looks at the long Sword. "It's a pitty, I can't fight with the sword, I've never learned." she mutters.
