Liri swallows hard and lets her three darts fly.

(The first hits AC 6 for 1 damage, the second and third AC 4 for 1 and 3 damage, respectively)

Then she turns, too, and takes position besides Bastian, her sword changed to her dominant hand again.

Angel's first arrow strikes the dwarf, piercing his breastplate. He barks out a sharp command and begins to fall back as Liri's darts arrive, two of which strike him but do not penetrate his armor. Angel's lets her second arrow fly in haste, and it flies wide of the mark as the edge of the forest disgorges a small horde of creatures.

The darkness makes them difficult to see, but they are roughly man-sized, heavily muscled, and wear scraps of cloth and battered armor that looks like it was scavenged from a scrap heap. They are armed mostly swords and axes, and also a few spears. They advance in a disjointed mob and without uttering a sound.

Behind them four larger figures follow - about ten feet tall and three feet wide - armed with huge axes.

The mules panic, bolting away from the incoming creatures and straining agains the line to which they are tied. In seconds the stakes come up and the mule team stampedes away towards the far side of the clearing, although the line tangles them and keeps them from running together.

Letting loose two more arrows far too quickly at the dwarf if he is still in range, Angel drops her bow and draws her Longsword, the sturdy blade shining brightly in the fading light.

She pulls herself close to Liri and Bastian, making a group surrounding Salia all thoughts of the body gone.
"Stay close to me." She says quickly, resting her back on the Cleric and the Elf.

"I hope you have a good plan up your sleeve, Brother Bastian" Liri hisses. "I'd rather have lost that dead body than lose my life now."

"I wonder if that would have made a difference?" Angel ponders, waiting for the inevitable.

Bastian replies with "Liquitus, preserve us in our hour of need..." the rest of his words are lost in the rush of the creatures ((Casting Bless on Angel)). As he finishes, he gazes about quickly, making sure that they are not getting flanked, and then he yells, "When I start my next prayer, fall back and cover your ears! When the enemy is distracted, cut them down!"

Kutz lets two arrows fly at the initial dwarf ...

to hit: 1d20+2=18, 1d20+2=11
Damage: 1d8=6, 1d8=5

I did roll something earlier but it was 1d10+2 instead of 1d20+2.

The creatures close quickly, in numbers more than you can easily count, as you spread out to meet them.
Daos, from his position on the wagon driver's bench, rattles off a rapid burst of odd sylables and gestures towards one of the larger attackers. Streaks of blue-white light streak towards the creature, exploding on impact and knocking the creature back a pace, but it keeps on.

Nearby, next to the wagon, Papa speaks quietly and strikes the trunk of the birch tree with his walking stick. "Sneaking up in the dark, are you?" he shouts. "Let's see how you like this!" White light streaks up the tree, spreading out from the point of impact and illuminating much of the clearing nearly as bright as day. "Come to Papa," he taunts as he draws his gladius.

In the new light, the creatures are clearly visible. At first glance, they resemble uruks in form, with large muscular builds, shaggy hair, and wide noses, but their skin is greyish rather than olive, and their mouths are large and toothy. Their eyes are large, too, but cloudy and white, with no irises or pupils visible.

Meanwhile, Kutz is shooting into the press, trying to hit the fleeing dwarf. His arrows miss their mark, hitting instead two of the other creatures, but not killing them.

Elias also shoots into the crowd, felling one of the creatures.

Liri waits, her sword drawn, her back to the wagon, for a creature to approach and attack her.

1d10=5, 1d20, 1d6=[4], [2]

initiative 5, she won't hit anything

Angel moves forward slightly, guarding those behind her, swinging at whoever gets near with her sword.

1d10=4, 1d20+2=13, 1d8+3=4

Init: 4, Hit AC 2, 4 Damage.

I'm holding my action to the end of the round so that I can use my spell "Entrance" as described in my instructions to the group.
