Five of the Baaz try to chase after Sturm, but are unable to keep up with him. The six Baaz who had just emerged from the building go after him, too. Riverwind does his best to fight off the ones engaged with him, but takes a few hits nonetheless.
Meanwhile, Magpie finds what she is looking for and pushes on a stone block in the wall. The block gives way, and a door swings open. "This way! Is secret, bosses not know!" she says, stepping inside. The room is small, but empty. This doesn't bother Magpie. She heads to the east wall and begins again searching for something.
Tanis, Laurana and Goldmoon all prepare to fire at anyone who turns the corner and isn't mammalian. When the secret door swings open, Tanis looks at it in surprise. "Quickly, everyone inside!" he commands.
Sturm, filled with shame, walks back the way he came, then slowly begins to withdraw in case any draconians make it that far.
Flint and Raistlin continue fleeing, and when they see the secret door, hurry inside. "Bah, it smells like rotted cheese in here!" the dwarf complains.
Caramon jogs back to the kender, scoops him up, and then hurries back to the others. He deposits Tas just outside the secret door.
Riverwind, realizing he is severely outnumbered and has been left behind, turns and runs. However, he must pass by a number of draconians to reach his friends, and they all take swings at him as he speeds by them--but the ranger does not let this deter him. By the time he reaches the secret door, he is bleeding from multiple wounds and feels quite woozy from blood loss.

Baaz 02 gives chase after Sturm, running on all fours 150 feet.

Baaz 04 attacks Riverwind with his long sword (1d20): 13, hit for (1d8): 8 damage.
Baaz 05 attacks Riverwind with his long sword (1d20): 7, miss.
Baaz 06 cannot reach Riverwind.
Baaz 07 gives chase after Sturm, running on all fours 150 feet.
Baaz 08 gives chase after Sturm, running on all fours 150 feet.
Baaz 09 walks ten feet and then attacks Riverwind with his long sword (1d20): 18, hit for (1d8): 3 damage.
Baaz 10 cannot reach Riverwind.

Baaz 12 gives chase after Sturm, running on all fours 150 feet.

Tanis draws his bow and readies to fire at any baaz who come into range.
Laurana draws her bow and readies to fire at any baaz who come into range.
Goldmoon pulls out her sling and readies to fire at any baaz who come into range.
Sturm walks 80 feet back to aid the others, then withdraws 20 feet back.
Flint drops to a jog and enters the secret room.
Raistlin walks 120 feet and enters the secret room.
Caramon makes a STR check (1d20): 19, fail. Caramon jogs 45 feet toward Tasslehoff, picks him up, drops into light encumbrance, and then jogs another 135 feet before setting the kender down.
Riverwind makes a STR check (1d20): 9, pass. Riverwind runs 360 feet. He is attacked by Baazs 16, 15, 14, 12, 11, 2 and 8 along the way, taking 8 more damage.
(Actions for Round 3?)

"What's the plan?" Tas quips as he lands. "Those guys are quick. Not as quick as you Sturm!"

Backing off slowly, following the others retreat Sturm frowns at the Kender. "The day was not ours Tas, fighting such a force would be madness." He moves towards the secret door. "We must move he shouts."

"Go, through the door now!" Laurana shouts at the arriving group, "Get in, and we will cover you." She grabs the Knight who stands next Tas. "That means you too Sturm."

As Riverwind passes her, Goldmoon stowes her sling away and makes sure he gets inside the room behind the secret door. She uses the blue crystal staff to heal at least some of his wounds (Cure moderate wounds).
There's more to me than meets the eye...

Caramon stands at the doorway ushering the others in.... "We need to shut the door before they turn the corner and keep quiet while they pass."

Riverwind enters the door and collapses to the ground. "That didn't work out very well."

Moving quietly as possible, Tas makes his way into the area. "We can't hide for too long."

Sturm lowers his head, and enters the room with a frown, his previous actions weighing heavily on his mind. "Very well my Lady."

Sturm slowly withdraws as a squadron of draconians charge right at him. He makes it back to the secret door and enters, as does everyone else. Goldmoon uses her staff to heal Riverwind a bit, as well. Tanis is the last through the door, and he quickly closes it. After a few breaths, they hear the draconians' clawed feet scraping the ground outside as they run by, oblivious to the secret door.
Magpie finds something on the east wall, and opens a second secret door. "This way," she says, strolling in casually. It's a long room, 40' by 20', that appears to be some kind of makeshift mess hall for gully dwarves. Lukewarm, stinking glop flies about the room. Bowls shatter against the walls, knives clatter on the floor. It seem the Gully Dwarves are settling a wild argument over dinner.

Goldmoon giggles at Caramon's comment, but quickly turns her attention back to Riverwind.
"Come here, my beloved, let me check your wounds." She examines him quickly to decide if it's better to use her healing skills or the divine magic of the blue crystal staff again.

"Sturm, you did what you thought was right, your friends do not appear to think any less of you." She gives a friendly open smile, her blonde hair falling about her face as she steps through the door, trying to ignore the mess and instead concentrates on Magpie and Tanis.
"Is this how your people live? I assume the Highbulp is nearby now?" Her eyes go to the assorted Gully dwarves.

"My Honor is my life my Lady. A Knight does not flee from his enemies." The Knights face is downcast, concerned, he barely reacts when he sees the Gully dwarves.
