[OOC]No need for Angel to dress Salia in her spare clothes:
Stik, on 7/12 wrote:Salia endures Addi the seamstress’ poking and prodding as she is fitted. The seamstress then waits with an expectant expression for Salia to remove her dresses. As Salia stands there, unsure of what to do next, Addi says: “Maybe you buy her something else to wear while I work, yes? Then come back later when is done.”
Jenara, on 7/13 wrote:"Of course." Angel smiles, looking round the stall until she spots something suitable.
"We'll take this." Angel says taking a simple white blouse and green skirt, pausing to press them up against the young girl. "Yes they'll do nicely." she gives a satisfied glance to Addi and ushers the girl to change.

Bastian leaves the temple and begins to wander the streets looking for a bar or signs of his traveling companions, specifically Angel. He would prefer her military expertise and eye for battle tactics may give them a bit more insight into how and why the attack took place the way it did. Without the body, his contract with Fraso is probably completed, but at the same time, the odd little man is probably handy to have around when dealing with the deceased....

His mind is distracted a bit too much to actually search for a bar, too many thoughts going through his head. For lack of better options he asks the closest soldier he can find.

Bastian’s attempts to locate the local criminal element meet with very little success and more than a little suspicion. It seems people here in town take the law very seriously.

Being the newest strangers in a small town enables your group to find each other by dinner time. The guild hostel is available to members free of charge as usual, but many of your group are non-members, forcing you to seek other accommodations. Luckily, Eldon knows of several places, having checked them out during his stay in town. The place he recommends is a simple inn, not an inn and tavern, and although it has no dining facilities, a large tent has been erected outside, under which food is prepared and sold. The eatery is a rough affair, with a few board tables and some benches, but the food smells good as you enter the tent.

Hiric arrives at the eatery, alone – no – with Fraso in tow. Hiric is his usual, gruff self. Fraso mutters a few words that nobody remembers afterwards then orders a meal (three times) and eats it in silence when it eventually arrives.

Hiric, gnawing on a chicken leg, says to all of you: “Master Fraso was able to send a message to the MageGuild in the capital. The Guild mage in town said we might expect an answer tomorrow.”

Eldon sits quietly in a corner, the little group had reformed, he felt somewhat left out. Ordering some food he eats by himself.

"Another day?" Angel muses, ordering a simple meal Liri and Salia in tow she sits glancing around for Eldon. "Master Fraso, we were aided today by a young man, I believe he is one of the Viatori, yet..." She pauses, "He has been of help, and perhaps he could continue to do so?" Brushing her hand on Liri's she nods to the Elf.

"His name is Eldon, perhaps I should go and get him?" She asks quietly.

Bastian nods and speaks through a mouthful of food, "I have sent word to my home cloister. I'm not sure that I will receive word back as quickly as Master Fraso, but surely I'll receive a message in return at some point." As he continues to eat Bastian cocks a wary eye at Fraso. The man is getting more and more peculiar as the day goes by. Something about that man really makes him uneasy.

Liri nods in support of Angel's remark about Eldon. "Yes, Master Fraso, if we continue to travel together, it might be helpful to have another mind and sword to defend us."

"If we are to stay, perhaps we should get a room?" Angel asks Liri.

"Isn't it up to Master Fraso to decide where you go?" Liri asks back, a little bewildered.

"You sound displeased, Gallius, at the prospect of staying put. Yet the crematory rites will keep us here through tomorrow regardless," says Fraso. "Actually, it may be quite a bit longer that we are here. For I know not what the Guild will direct us to do. It's quite a clever system they have established, the way they pass messages, but it does take some time to get through, and I expect that they will be consulting for quite awhile regarding this matter."
Angel, Elias and Bastian are able to follow Fraso's words, but only just barely, what with the way the smoke rises off the grill, and that one bit of fat continues to flame in the far right corner. Liri, on the other hand, loses him before the second sentence is done.

"And as to another traveler, by all means, invite him. We seem somewhat shorthanded at the moment. Safety in numbers and all that."

Liri gets up, suddenly uneasy. She excuses herself for a moment (explaining "bathroom" to anyone who asks) and leaves the tent. When she comes back, she takes a tour of the tent, like someone who forgot where her friends were sitting. She tries to check how well she can follow other group's conversations, if there is anyone or anyplace else that shows this blurring peculiar to Fraso. Any other information that can be gathered from the conversations is welcome, too. To be able to move within the crowd without arousing suspicion, she is also scanning said crowd, showing off her graceful body and an occasional smile.

"Displeased? No, I was merely making an observation." Angel shrugs as she watches Liri leave. "So we are to wait? I trust you will be aiding us with accommodation costs and the like?" With the Elf gone, Angel suddenly become all business, her thoughts of money and duty.

“I can certainly arrange for accommodations, Gallius. Your pay, however, may be a bit delayed. The majority of my traveling money was in a small chest, which was secured to the wagon bed. I am sure I don’t have to tell you what became of it.
“But rest assured, you will be reimbursed for your service upon reaching our destination.”

"Pay is the least of my Concern." Angel responds, "Food and somewhere to rest are my motivations at this point in time my Lord."

"I will collect Master Eldon, he will be of use, I believe. And he knows this place." With that Angel stands and moves over to the table where the man sits.

"Master Fraso wishes to talk to you." She pauses looking over to the man and the others, "He is a strange one, do not be alarmed, the way he talks and the things he says are often confusing, much in the way of most men of his kind." Her eyes follow Liri as she returns, somewhat distracted once more. "Come." She rises to her feet once more.

"Strange you say?" Eldon rubs his chin, and rises to his feet. The Elf and the Half Elf, he could work with them, even if the Half Elf scared the crap out of him. "I will meet him."

"You're friend is awfully sociable, isn't she?" He says watching Liri with a wink as he walks to the table.

"Master Fraso." Eldon offers the man his hand, "I am Eldon Cortex, I offer you my blade in service."
