An expedition with the "Seagull"

Desolate and abandoned, the evil alchemist’s mansion stands alone on the cliff, looking out towards the sea. Mysterious lights and ghostly hauntings have kept away the people of Saltmarsh, despite rumours of a fabulous forgotten treasure. What is its sinister secret?

"Farewell to you all," Amon says. Although deep down, he couldn't shake the feeling he would never see any of them again.

With that, the two depart along with Dogmeat, heading back to town.

"Come." the half elf says, starting to move she points herself in the direction of the cliffs once more. With her back to the group she wipes back a tear, "We are here for a reason, lets do it. Henry could you help me walk?" she does not turn around, rather she walks slow.

If no one has any issues lets assume we go.

Searos peers after the two departing mages quizzically. "Well that was a little abrupt..." He then shrugs and follows after Brax.

Nodding at the mages, Gunter sniffs at his armpits quizzically.

"You know, it hasn't been THAT long since I bathed..." his thoughts trail off in his head and then he follows Brax along the trail to the beach."

Grinning, Brax walks back to the beach, her hand on her mace.

Vee says nothing about the leaving of Amon and Eco but she's a little bit sad seeing the group dissolving.

Also not to positive to her mood is the fact that they're going to this Sea-monster again, and so she is silent the whole way long.

When the group arrives down at the bay, they can only use the upper path at the junction because the lower one is submerged after just a few yards, the tide is high.

They can now start to search the bushes and rocks between the path and the water line for remains of other victims of the monsters. The triton is still on the rock, and waves at them. As soon as they are within earshot, she calls out "Help, please help" in Common. Then she adds something in Elven.

"She says she will call sharks this time to help us" Kim translates. "What should I answer?"

"Tell her we are unable to help until the water level is lower." Brax answers with a tinge of anger in her voice.

Gunter, completely ignoring the Triton, begins to search the newly exposed area to see if there is anything unusual.

"What can you see Gunter?" Brax asks, turning away from the Triton for now. "There must be some clue.."

Searos glowers at the triton. "She is such a liar. I know a liar and there it lies."

Searos turns as Gunter starts to look about. "See anything interesting Muscles?"

Kim's mouth opens, then closes again. Turning to Brax, Kim states: "My voice cannot cover the distance to her. Could you tell her yourself?"

"Of course." Brax moves as close as she can to the Trition, and shouts in Elven: "I am sorry, we can't do anything, the water is too deep." Giving the others a weak smile she stands unsteady on her feet.

When the group examines the bushes and rocks at the water line, going lower as the water retreats, they find a number of man-made items sticking to branches, or lying in the sand or in tidal pools. These include remains of a single boot with tooth marks on it, metal buttons already somehow stained by the seawater, belt buckles, and several daggers and a short sword of moderate quality.

When they gather around noontime for a meal of rations and share their finds, one thing is remarkable: "There are no real valuables here" Kim observes. "No coins, no jewellery, no good weapons." A quick gesture and a few mumbled words reveal something else: "And nothing magical either."
