Gunter narrows his eyes at the newcomer.

"Yes, who are you...and how long have you been listening to us?"

Searos rolls his eyes and rubs the bridge of his nose. "Great. Another helpful stranger. Because thats gone so well for us. Can we skip the formalities and just tie him up and throw him off a cliff before he has the chance to betray us?"

[Jenara]

Lowering the the hood she had pulled over her head, Brax stares at him with her red eyes, her silver skin flashing in the sunlight. "He doesn't look like a Halfling.." She comments, "State your purpose here." She announces with a clear voice.

"We really do seem to have the worst luck with halflings don't we..."

Noldoli just told me he's in hospital, so we have to wait a little bit until he's able to join us again.

"I apologize if I startled you," he said raising his hands away from any weapons to show he had no intention of trouble. "I am Coren Typhon, cleric of Heironeus. And, no..." he says turning to Brax, "I am not a halfling nor have I ever been accused of being one for that matter, though you seem have some grudge against the race." He then turns to Searos, "And I think I might be more useful to you unbound and not tossed over the cliff," he says in an irritated tone. Then to everyone, "I was briefly informed of your situation by the mages Amon and Echo and they suggested that I could be of some help to you in this matter."

"You have met Amon and Echo?" She stops startled, "Perhaps you can tell me about them? I am sure Echo was charming and friendly." she probes, giving the dwarf a wary glance. "We have been burnt many times in the past."

"Jes, That seems quite strange to me." Vee adds "You tell me that Amon and Echo, which were very busy to return, just wanted to tell a complete stranger everything? And just in case this isn't completly a lie - how do you want to help us?"

"And about the Halfling- thing: you may don't look like an Halfling but you act like a Halfling who we used to know. A Halfling which we really had better bound and tossed over the cliff! ..exept there was none..."

Searos' shoulders slump. "Great... another priest. I look forward to more sermons..."

When the priest addresses him, Searos muses "I don't know. I'll bet you'd look pretty funny on the way down. That could be useful to me."

"I was present at a council in Dunreese where the two conveyed the story of what had been found here. I had business at the temple and the head priest invited me to the council meeting. I spoke with them only briefly thereafter and gathered that in their unfortunate need to depart, your group might be in need of another capable body. And I am willing to lend my help to you if you are willing to accept. And as far as the implication that I may be decieving you, as a priest of Heironeous, I give my word that is not the case. I can only ask that you trust me for the time being and allow me to show my worth."
