An expedition with the "Seagull"

Desolate and abandoned, the evil alchemist’s mansion stands alone on the cliff, looking out towards the sea. Mysterious lights and ghostly hauntings have kept away the people of Saltmarsh, despite rumours of a fabulous forgotten treasure. What is its sinister secret?

Searos does his best not to flinch or lash out with a dagger, instead letting himself be pulled along with Shersea.

Coren looks at Brax pleadingly. "Can't I wait until the triton comes back? I nearly drowned, I don't want to dive again if I can help it."

When Searos does not react to Shearsea's pulling his hand down, she takes both his hands to make him crouch. If he doesn't oblige, well, he will hit his head at an outcropping rock. But all in all, because the thief is compliant, the two leave the cave and Shearsea leads him to dry land, benind the line of rocks that lead to the large boulder she had been chained to. Then she unceremoniously begins to take the tiara, belt and bracelet away.

"Yes, of course, I was checking you were still with us." Giving him a pat on the shoulder she agrees. "You go next."

Searos doesn't fight the triton, instead just sighing and looking at the trinkets being taken from him.

Shearsea dives back to join Brax, Gunter and Coren. She puts tiara, belt and bracelet on the half elf cleric. "Now you can come with me safely" she smiles. Then she turns to Brax and Gunter. "Do you want to dive now, too? I don't know how long the sea cat parents will pursue the sharks. The babies are still getting milk." Indeed, the remaining sea cat babies are getting restless again, their hunger becoming stronger than their fear of the party.

On shore, Kim briefly turns around. "Welcome back on dry land, Searos."

"Shall we go." Brax suggests to Gunter, taking his hand.

(What modifier would Brax have for taking the chest with her? She is strong enough, and I assume its only a small one??)

Searos looks over at Kim.

"Did you see the jewels she took off of me? For a short time, they were mine..."

A little distractedly, Kim answers "Yes they were nice" and returns to watching the sea for signs of the returning adult sea cats.

At Brax's question, Gunter takes a deep breath to steady himself.

"Aye, I'm ready when you are. Let's get out of this place."

Searos goes about collecting the gear that he left before going under the waves, restringing his shortbow and looking towards the water.

"Any sign of those damned water lions or whatever they are?"

"Just as you mention it, there is something heading towards the bay. It could be them" is Kim's calm answer. "I will try to take them out with the spell Sanbalet used on us. Keep your ranged weapons ready in case I fail"

Meanwhile, Shearsea leads Coren, and Brax and Gunter reach the first cave without incident (you need to roll for the last tunnel again, please).

DEX and CON rolls for Gunter:
1d20, 1d20=[3], [10], passes

List of roll links for the seacat's return (10% chance after the party found the treasure, increasing by 5% every subsequent round)
1st round (10)
1d100=23
2nd round (15)
1d100=49
(During these two rounds, Shearsea brings Searos back outside)
3rd round (20)
1d100=97
(Shearsea swims back, Brax and Gunter prepare to leave with the treasure)
4th round (25)
1d100=24

Sea cats come back!!!
