The Dried Oasis.

[Jenara]

"We could argue over this for ever. As we don't have forever I suggest you answer my question. Who are you?" She gives him a look of concern.

[Korgen]

Mary remains silent, not wishing to give any thoughts on the matter. She just watches as the group speaks.

[The_Muffin_Man]

Hrothgar gives the woman an odd look. "Didn't I already introduce myself? My name is Hrothgar." He holds out a meaty paw to shake with Midnight.

[Jenara]

Midnight ignores the hand offered hand and shakes her head, "You told me your name, that you have misplaced honor, and you seem to have an aversion to Bandits." Giving Mary an odd look she continues.

"The first is useful, after all its nice to know what to call someone. The second will get you killed one day, and the last... Well its good to know we agree on something." Sipping her drink she shrugs. "But, I like to know who I am dealing with, I know who I am, so thats irrelevant, but who you are is."

[The_Muffin_Man]

Hrothgar scratches at his beard a bit. "Who am I? I'm just a boy from a small village sent out into the world. I am seeking my name out here in the world so I can return home. Also, I wouldn't say that I have an aversion to bandits. I rather like them. I have a certain respect for people who take what they want. Bandits are also a useful group to raid because they have stuff and they're usually good for a fight. So really, I find them kinda fun."

[Jenara]

"They are cruel, evil, and deserve to be destroyed, they take property, people..." She shakes her fist in anger, some sign of emotion appearing on her face. "I set out to kill them, and that is what I will do."

[The_Muffin_Man]

"Then I would be happy to join you. I will not find my name among them but I'm always up for a good brawl. So, I am going to go ahead and assume that if I ask who you are, I will not get much of an answer, will I?"

[Jenara]

"You guessed correctly, I do not do people very much." She answers honestly, "I am Midnight, really that is all you need to know." Sipping her drink again she gives the big man a shrug.

[Korgen]

The barkeep returns with questionable food. He hands the dishes out as well as the drinks. " here you go. Nice and creative." Mary quickly dives in without a word. After a few mouthfuls she glances up at Hrothgar with a cold stare. " Since you enjoy battle, would you try to kill any tough oppenant to build your name?"

[Jenara]

Hazel gives the food a glance before setting about eating it with abandon.

[The_Muffin_Man]

Hrothgar digs into his meal but considers Mary's words. "I would not seek a man out simply to fight him. There must be a reason. It is not enough to simply say 'you will test me, lets fight!' To do so would cheapen the battle. I must have a reason to fight him, I would think. I also would not say something as simple as I enjoy battle. Battle is the clearest way where we test ourselves, but it is not the only way. My father earned his name by tracking a particularly crafty and magnificent stag. The creature had fooled the hunters of my town for many years. It is not just about battle, but it is about testing one's self and learning you can always do better."

[Jenara]

"Why take the risk?" Hazel comments, sitting back she eats her food, trying not to imagine what it is, "Why risk yourself? I will never understand it.."

[The_Muffin_Man]

"All of life is a risk. You take a risk every day you get out of your bed. If you're going to be taking risks, why not have some fun doing it?"

[Jenara]

"Pah." Hazel responds, "Eat up, we have a Commander to meet, and you are coming too." Taking Marys hand she gives the man a shrug. "You coming?"

[The_Muffin_Man]

Hrothgar palms the bowl and upends the remains into his gullet before wiping his arm across his beard and standing up. "Ready and yes!"
