Kata flings her sheath and attempts a counter. But it is too late. Navi's blade opens a seeping gash across her midriff. Gasping from the wound, she continues with her stroke slicing at Navi's shoulder, hissing "Dukkoti Hukaa, Tanya awra!"

Meanwhile outside

Egewulf spots the sign for the Wandering Wemic a short distance down the street.

Anxious to speak to the proprietor of the establishment about employment, Egewulf steps ahead of Xiindor. Hurriedly reaching the door without a word, he opens it and motions for her to enter.

[Jenara]

"I think.." She shouts as she swipes the blade in a defensive pattern. (probably missing) "You have lied.."

init 11, hit 9, 6 dmg.

In the same moment the wand slides from her pocket, aiming straight at her, a magical bolt striking her body, disrupting any spell. 1d4+1=3

She eyes up the windows and the doors, "I prefer killing Orcs, to that if you don't mind." she shoots a grin, fighting through the pain.

[Thank you Wulfy *]. Xiindor gracefully enters the business and takes a quick look around to see what she has entered and who all is inside.

The blue-violet bolt of arcane energy catches Kata in the shoulder diverting her strike. The rapier's tip cleaves an angled gash down Navi's shirt, falling short of the flesh.... "No? You fight like one..."

Turic is charmed.
Vrunar is under a suggestion spell.

Egewulf and Xiindoor

The common room has a sprinkling of patrons sitting at tables this early in the morning. Behind the bar, a large middle aged man is giving instructions to the staff.

Thinking breakfast would be nice and he could take in some of the conversation going on around him, Egewulf finds a table close to the bar and takes a seat.

Vrunar and Turic

As Turic tugs him down the hall, Vrunar can not help but hear the sounds of combat in the room behind him. Several of the later rising guests of Wemic are standing in their doorways with concerned looks. However most appear to be modestly wealthy older couples and merchants, none of which are too eager to intervene.

Egewulf and Xiindoor

You notice that no food is being served here, just refreshments. The patrons all seeming to be making plans elsewhere for the day, whether it be travel, merriment, or business.

A wiry lad gallops down the stairs two at a time. Rushing over to the proprietor he engages in a hurried conversation, while pointing back up the stairs.

At the bar:

I will attempt to listen to their conversation.

Egewulf is unable to discern the details of the conversation occurring on the other side of the peacefully quiet room.

Xiindor listens to the boy.

"Really? Thats the best you can do?!" Navi shouts, her voice hopefully filling the room and beyond.

"Why? Either you are going to kill me, or I am going to kill you, so tell me, why would you do it?" She asks, panting and preparing to move backwards.

Using the wand in her off hand she aims it once again at Kata.

Xiindor overhears the boy saying there is a loud catfight in the room at the end of the hall. At the same time, dim shouting can be heard from somewhere beyond the top of the stairs.

Navi's thrust strikes true as her blade slips between Kata's ribs causing the raven haired girl to gasp with pain as her own attack flies wild of its mark.

" I'm glad to see that our peoples skills have not wavered too much over the millennia. It is now time to end this however."

Raising her arm a whip appears in her left hand, which she immediately lashes out at Navi's feet. The tip loudly cracks as it strikes the floor where Navi stands.

Xiindor smiles at the mention of a cat fight, she quickly looks towards the stairs and heads towards them and then upstairs to check it out. [*come on Gerwulf, it's about to get interesting in here and so early, who would have thought.]

At the thought of being able to prove his peacekeeping abilities, Egewulf jumps at the opportunity and makes his way towards the disturbance as fast as possible.

[Jenara]

"You have a toy?" Navi grins, pulls the sword against her chest and executes a sudden backflip through the open door landing on her feet she darts for the stairs.

Tumble check: 1d20+8=26 pass, she can tumble past and heads to the stairs.
