Haahqae accepts the soup with a "Why thank you. Oh her help would be great! But I think I heard somewhere that she's offta get married. I don't know everything about human wedding customs, but I don't think she wants a giant as her best gnome."

"Married?!?" Tulbas asks in surprise. "I didn't take her for domestic type. Well, shouldn't you get her a present? Or perform in her wedding? That could be nice don't you think?" Tulbas smiles with mischief. "Anyway, will you go and talk to Nora?"

Gregeddin leans forward eagerly in his chair, "Aye it is good to know we all have some fire left in our bellies for winter! So tell me then... How would we feel about, say, turning these crooks I've met into the Holy Guard to gain a favour or two from Windwood? It might help if we wanted to visit or free Darewind, or 'Fistandantilus' if that is his true form." The bard continues, "Just... Their likely executions on our hands would be an interesting question of morality for us to consider..."

"But back to business, Oh and thank you for the soup Tulbas, Yes I think we should meet with Nora and find out what has developed since the Daxia exchange. I would quite like to go down there along with someone. Ah married to the jeweller, Norris! I hope she is healed enough to keep her dress white."

Darga pauses, taken aback. "Y'mean, after all that, yer sayin' that ya want ta turn these people over t' th' guard? I mean, I think that's th' best way ta keep 'em from stealin' from th' refugees. But th' guards're lookin' fer us. How d'ya suggest we turn 'em in when they're lookin' fer us, too?"

"Well the thing is for me, turning them in to their execution would hang heavier on my conscience that scamming refugees for money." Gregeddin replies enthusiastically, "Not that I'm a particularly conscientious person and could see myself doing either or both, but with the rioting and all that's been going on in the city, I'm being confronted with all these weird moral questions all at once. Only a few years back I was happily running through the stalls of the market, playing pretend without a care for these sorts a troubles."

"Disguise?" Gregeddin offers, "Maybe they won't think to look under their noses."

Kendra stares at Norris as if he had grown a dozen heads in a matter of minutes. The idea of traveling to Solace to get married wasn't a horrible idea, and it was kind of what she wanted. Though, she really lacked friends, and it was still her family. Plus, she just couldn't see her family agreeing to the idea. "M...Maybe we can just do a private little ceremony there, sometime, when we get the chance to visit," she said, finally deciding to just compromise.

"Well then, perhaps we could have our honeymoon in Solace, if you prefer," Norris suggests.

"Well, regarding the guards, maybe we can start spreading false rumors among the refugees about the fight, with somewhat different description that will distract the investigation from our tails. Regarding the scam, well do what you like, I just think the rest of us won't join the scam. Anyway, you can just convince the merchants it won't be good to do the scam here, especially now with the holy guard so edgy, and then you won't have any moral troubles. Last, I think you should go with Haaque to meet Nora, since Haaque as a new recruit should bring new recruits himself, and now we don't have Kynaston with us anymore..."

"Hmm, maybe," Kendra says with a small shrug. She didn't mind the idea of spending some time in Solace, but she didn't know if she wanted to spend her honeymoon there. "I'm sorry," she finally says. "I know I should seem more excited, but I guess it just seems to be happening so fast. I haven't had time to process it all."

"Too fast? We've been dating for over a year now," Norris points out. "We've discussed it many times, and you have always said you weren't ready yet. I must admit, I'm not sure what it is exactly you are waiting for at this point."

Tulbas, Darga, Gregeddin and Haahqae (253 Herbalist Street, Erogundali Mageware Shop)
Haahqae agrees to go speak with Nora.

Seeing Haaque and Gregeddin depart, Tulbas tries a smalltalk with Darga while attending to his uncle. "So, how have you been these last few days? I was very nervous before the fight with the Ergothians, and by the way, I don't think like you that we murdered them. They were mercenaries and we had rescued innocent girl from grave injustice. They knew what they signed for, so they are the only one to blame for what happened. Besides, I'm not sure if you recall, with all the fight excitement, but I did told the Cavalier to order his fellows to lower their weapons and thus prevent bloodshed, and he refused."

Gregeddin concurs and bids farewell and is lead over towards the warehouse of the cult. Along the way he comments, "So I'm not sure how much we should let on we already know about Fistandantilus, the cult and the exchange of Daxia. I wonder if they might treat me with suspicion, though if we are considered Tulbas' friends I suppose that must be all right."

While they are walking through town, Gregeddin keeps a few paces away from Haahqae so that they are not directly side by side, in an attempt to reduce the chance of being spotted as suspects from the night of the exchange.

That hat is awfully colourful for disguise...

Darga is taken aback at Tulbas's interest in him, but he seems happy to talk with him. "I been doin' as good as I kin expect, I s'pose. I got a roof over my head, an' I ain't hungry, not yet anyway. But how're you doin'? I know it's been tough fer ya these last few days wit' yer uncle hurt an' all, but I hope yer takin' some time ta worry 'bout yerself, too." A bit of his enthusiasm drains as he moves onto the topic of the fight, though. "Mebbe it weren't murder, but it sure felt like it ta me. Ya say that they was paid ta fight us, an' that may be true. But did they know they was bringin' th' girl ta be murdered? Seems ta me more likely than not that they been told she was a criminal or some such." He shakes his head sadly. "I ain't sayin' that we didna do nothin' that didn't have ta be done, but that don't mean I don't feel like I got blood on my hands, ya see? An' that's all there is ta it." He says this last with finality, unhappy with the prospect of discussing it further.

Gregeddin and Haahqae (Cult Hideout, Harbor District)
The two head up to the harbor district, hoping not to catch any undue attention to themselves--especially from the Holy Guard. But luck, or perhaps something more, was on their side. They didn't encounter a single Holy Guard or Seeker priest for the entire trip to the warehouse.

The warehouse is actually so full of people today that they are spilling out into the streets. No guards stand at the door any longer, meaning anyone who wishes can enter, assuming they can squeeze past the crowd, that is.

As the two approach the warehouse, Gregeddin catches up to Haahqae, "Was it this busy before? Looks like we're going to have to push our way in to find this Nora. Right lead the way and keep an eye on your steel."
