Pyros passed, but it's the other 9 people making enough noise to wake the dead. The guards don't seem interested in stopping, they're trying to get to the guy before he escapes through the secret passage.

Right I passed so I wouldn't be noticed I managed to get them to get ahead and peak around the corner, only the loud group would be heard.

Would I be able to get to the corner before them?

Not really because they are going in the moment each new portcullis opens. He could make a break for it after the last one, but it's only about 10 feet on from there and they'll be just a second behind him. Do you want Pyros to dash past them at the end and try to remain quiet/hidden?
