Hearing Luka's diagnosis Daphne gives him a look that might be interpreted as, "No shit?"

Luka

Seeing the look. Just trying to help, Princess.. Luka turns and walks around the cave.

Well let's get moving, the Goblin King could return in any minute. Guess the Princess can walk. I will scout ahead.

And with that he heads back down the hall, back towards the main cavern.

Vic casts his mage hand.

Puts it out as if to take a lady's.

"Pleasure..., beast? Care to elaborate? Any staves back there back there?"

Daphne says, "I'm a lady-in-waiting; no princess. Forgive me; it's the pain..." She screams as Luka moves towards the exit.

She stares at the remains of the partially eaten male dwarf. "The beasts! They've eaten Darthag!" After a few moments she composes herself, upper lip stiffening. She accepts Vic's Mage Hand* without hesitation. "Please forgive me, brave rescuers. I am truly grateful, just somewhat discomoded. And my thanks to you, Master Dwarf.." She gestures vaguely towards Luka. "It felt you were being too forward, if you take my meaning, but that is my upbringing. As if such propriety overtakes the horror of this place. And being eaten.." She shudders. "Forgive me not dipping** but I fear I may fall." She manages a timid smile at Luka.

To Vic, "Thank you, Master Mage. Pleasure? There's precious little to be had here. But beast? Why, those vile green forrest goblins. And their giant friends and animals."

Minor retcon: Daphne is human and can't see in the dark so unless someone already has a light let's assume that when Daphne was discovered Isaril put his bow away and lit a torch.

The hand was just for the greeting.

After being introduced, Vic will move to support the lady with his real hands, and shoulder.

"Stick with me, I am this courts Jester and Wizard. These two are the brawn." He points to Val and Unbar.

"We have just met, but seems like a good chap, saved us from a predicament, just now." He points to Luka.

Daphne shakes the hand and smiles briefly. "I'm sure Lady Velrosa will reward you all. Until then, you have my thanks." She accepts Vic actual hands and grimaces as they move a few hesitant paces.

When Unbar doen't respond to Luka's query about healing, Isaril shrugs and steps towards Daphne. Holding his Mielikki symbol for her to see he gestures as if to touch her leg. She hesitates then nods, "Ahh! A nature cleric." Isaril just looks impassive and casts a spell*. The bruising on the lady's leg shrinks like ice melting in the midday sun. It doesn't disappear completely but does evoke a response, "Hmmm That's better. Thank you. We must hurry and rescue the others. Please?"

Testing her weight on the mostly cured leg Daphne pronounces, "That's wonderful. I can walk." She walks a few more paces unaided and it seems her motion is back to normal.

Isaril says in elven, "I have no more curatives until tomorrow."

Where next?

Luka

Strolls out of the cavern and into the main Cavern around to the next. Before leaving the hall way to the main cavern he says:

Follow me. Maybe we can get out of here before the King returns.

Slips his bow in hand and quietly moves to the next cavern hall off the main cavern.

Daphne picks up the torch and seems to prefer to be next to Vic*.
Luka moves out of the light and off into the darkness**. He's closely followed by Val.
Isaril seems happy to bring up the rear.

***
Luka and val press on northwards and find the next tunnel. ten foot wide, is split by an eight foot wide, twenty foot deep wedge-shaped fissure. The tunnel contimues northwards but disappears from side round a sharp bend some ten foot or so beyond the fissure.

Preoccupied with the collection of weapons, Unbar looks embarrassed as he realizes Isaril healed the wounded lady. Rather than address the issue though he merely ties all the weapons into a bundle with rope to carry with them.
"Uh sure. Rear. Or near to anyway" As Isaril takes rear.

Looking at the fissure can Val determine the distance to the other side? Or can he see a way across?

investigation: [1d20+1]=12+1=13.

Val will also light up his lantern.

With the lantern lit Val can see that it's an eight foot leap to get across to the other side of the fissure. Anything falling down the fissure could easily get jammed as the width of the fissure narrows. Perfect for breaking ankles! The ground on the far side looks gritty; almost like coarse sand on a beach. There's a strong salty-mineral smell from the pool a little further back to against the northeast wall of the main cavern. Dripping into the pool and the noise as it trickles away eastward dominate any ambient sound. The lantern's light reveals something wedged towards one end of the fissure. It looks like a lether-clad skeleton. it doesn't move.

Does it appear to be safe to walk towards the wedged item? "Luka do you think you can investigate that wedged item?"

It looks like a difficult climb with a fall resulting in a broken ankle or two and possible immobility (stuck).
