(OOC: I'm hoping by the time Kybalion enters the Kender's attack will render him visible. He will attack the mimic and while the Kender is invisible there is no way of knowing where the Kender is.) Upon entering the room the animated chest will be Kybalion's target and will attack it with some zeal. (using his attack and damage rolls from previous post. Thanks Tristen!)

Unable to free himself, Pyros stabs the shapeless thing square in one of its’ myriad purple eyes, turning the orb black and illiciting a chilling screech! The rogue’s invisibility ends. Mira rushes to the door and tries to stab the thing with the old iron short sword. The restriction of the doorframe causes her to strike the hard wood instead. The sword flexes and the shock vibrates up her hand in an uncomfortable way, but the weapon aeems none the worse for wear.

Jerry and Kybalion file past her into the room. The warrior stabs over the now-visible Kender and plunging his weapon deep into the abomination’s ever-shifting hide! Dark violet blood oozes thickly from the wound and the creature's motions become more sluggish. The Mystaran says a prayer of healing but isn't able to make contact with the Kender in the chaos of the melee.

Merric and cross fire into the room, one with a sling stone that bounces off the frame and the other with magic. A pair of Arcane missiles weave around the others and blast against the monstrosity, causing it to flinch and fail to further injure Pyros for now

Mira lunges in and manages to stab the shapeless horror, which screeches and writhes in pain and alien fury! It's maw opebs wide, and rows upon rows of glistening teeth shine as they try to snap down on the Kender. Kybalion stabs his Glaive deep down the horrifying gullet of the monstrosity! Spurts of purple-black blood-ooze spray over Pyros and he is immediately released! The abomination thrashes and jerks as it collapses into a shapeless mass on the floor…

"Sadly I think this whole place IS trying to kill us. Either through fright or by trying to eat us." She sighs..

"Since I have walked through the fog and found myself in this odd place, I have encountered three creatures so far that have transformed. So far I have managed to only dispatch one, with assistance of course, and the other two have run off to lick their wounds. I most assuredly want that nut job that assaulted us at the Inn. He turned into a bloody mist and fled to this building. It needs to die! Sadistic coward that it is. We must find it!" Kybalion look s for some cloth to wipe the ichor off his pole arm and scans the room for anything of worth or import that may aid them in the hunt.
