I mean she's putting up the Christmas decorations while the rest of us are still have our Halloween costumes on.

She's about to run off to the palas alone while we still have to secure the prisoners. If there's something dangerous in there, she'll be on her own, or we'll have to abandon the prisoners to help her.
Either way, it puts someone in danger.
Which is fine, as far as I am concerned. If that's Eloise's personality, then that's her personality. And everybody here knows that I'm all about characters with strong personalities.
In character, though, well, eventually Christopher is going to have a conniption if she keeps running off. Which, once again, is fine.

Valerian grows as a weed out here, and I had some even in my flower pots. I left it there for a few years, and this fall I took it out because I needed the flower pot for something else. I had planned to use the root, but the main root had so many finely spun rootlets intricately mixed with earth, that I gave up the plan for lack of time (and anyways, there's more valerian in anothr pot). So if Matthias wants to collect the root, he will either carry a dirty lump of several pounds with him or spend an hour or so cleaning the root. Of course, you could also let him carry the root to the garden entrance and do the cleaning later.

Thanksgiving has taken a back burner to Black Friday in America this year. Most of the stores are opening on Thanksgiving itself this year.
