Created a private thread for your character TristenC. Post your information there when You are ready. Looks like an interesting character.

Thanks :) Quick question about allowed weapons for clerics in 3.5 (I've never played one in that version).
I see they start with simple wep prof, and I understand about 'buying' additional weps with feats, etc.

Are there further restrictions on whay type of weps a cleric of Pelor can use? I know in 2e they're usually restricted to bludgeoning unless their diety specifies otherwise...

One little hitch. This is Forgotten realms. Pelor doesn't have a following in this setting.

I know, I'm torn between Lathander and Torm.

Lath fits him so much better, but doesn't have the healing domain that Torm does... decisions, decisions ...

There are quite a few ties with Torm in this game...

Darn, just realised that Brax, my character in Saltmarsh (half drow cleric of Pelor) was unconscious copy of my only Cleric of Lathander, who was a half drow called Allica.. Had a horse called Met.

Oh those were the days

I think I'm going to have to go with Lathander, he fits the character's personality perfectly. Domains of Renewal and strength

Don't worry, he'll still have plenty of heals to toss around :D
