Jocelyn rubs at her forehead. She doesn't know what to do about the politics of this situation. "This city is slowly turning into Draska," she said to all of them. "People there murder each other for their own benefits, and this isn't any different from that. The ones that have actually killed people here are nothing more than murderers at this point. We need a place to put them where they will be safe until things calm down, if they do calm down. Any ideas?" she asks the others.

"Do you really think this will calm down before everyone is killed or at least injured?" Ouragana asks Jocelyn, incredulous. "If we try to bring them anywhere, we'd be very easy targets because we#re burdened."

"I suppose we could try taking them to that shrine or the sewers that he spoke of," Areilon says, gesturing to the scratching elf.

"The only way to put a stop to this is to wipe out the League. Then there's no threat," Brock points out.

Tialis laughs derisively. "Sure, that shouldn't take more than an hour or two, yes? Don't be so naive."

"More people are being killed and injured as we speak," Jocelyn says to Oura. "We came out here to help people, so I"m not leaving." She glances to Areilon. "That seems like the best idea," she finally says and looks to Brock. "And I'm not sure we can take out the League, but maybe we can at least find the people that are causing these attacks and make them stop. First, we need to take all of these people to that shrine."

"I think you are overestimating what we can accomplish" Ouragana grumbles, but helps to bring the people to the shrine.

Val agrees, reluctantly. "Fine, then we can go save some more." She moves with the group, still on guard.

Baeros says to Ouragana, "We need to try." Then he tell Jocelyn, "Well, lead the way, and after we put them there, let's try to find a way to stop the mages."

"Andar, Val, keep these people in line," Jocelyn says. "Brock, are you coming with us, or are you going to do your own thing?" she asks.

"Aye, I'll come with you, lass, so long as your opposed to the League," Brock says.

"You're making a mistake, but it's not my job to talk people out of foolishness," Tialis says. "Perhaps we'll run into each other again."

The two Leaguers and non-Leaguers that were not put to sleep depart the area, while the seven sleeping ones are woken up and forced to march alongside the party.

(OOC: New marching order, taking Brock and the seven prisoners into account?)

"Do not start fighting each other again, or I will put you back to sleep. And we'll leave you to be killed by the next enemy" Ouragna tells the seven victims of her spell as she places herself directly behind them.

(OOC: I know Ouragana can't do the spell again, but they don't.)

"No, we won't leave you for our next enemy, but we will put you back to sleep if we have to," Jocelyn corrects, looking to Ouragana as if she had lost her mind. She walks over to the elf that they helped. "Still itching?" she asked

"You won't get away with this," says one of the prisoners, an elderly woman with blue skin and white hair. "We have rights, you thugs can't just march into our city and start kidnapping people!"

"Just what do you intend to do with us anyway?" demands another prisoner, a young half-orc male.
Jocelyn wrote:"Still itching?"
The elf nods wordlessly to Jocelyn, his chest starting to turn red with irritation with all the scratching he's been doing.

(OOC: I notice you didn't include Brock in that marching order.)

"We are taking all of you to somewhere a little more safe," Jocelyn says. "After that, you are free to leave that safe place if you really want to, but don't start trying to kill each other. I'm pretty sure that trying to kill each other isn't apart of your rights."

(Brock can be in front of Jocelyn)

Ouragana rolls her yes at Jocelyn's stare. Apparently, the cleric had never heard of emtpy threats... and as if they could allow themselves to carry sleeping prisoners anywhere...
But she says nothing and tries to see if there's any threat to them as they pass throught the streets with the prisoners.

"You obviously know nothing about our rights," the blue skinned woman says to Jocelyn. "Typical Octhanus attitude. Lock people up for fear that they might hurt themselves. Can't have people live their own lives, no, that would be too dangerous. I hear Sanctuary is looking to create a complete nanny state, where everything is illegal and everyone just sits at home, too terrified to leave their houses." She spats on the ground.

The party heads north to another intersection. "The shrine is to the west of here," the scratching elf informs them.

There's suddenly a very loud croaking sound. Up on top of a rooftop about 40 feet to the northwest, stands a red-skinned creature that resembles a frogman. If anything, it looks even more alien and frightening than the elf described it. Spikes emerge from its back, its claws are elongated and segmented and there's a strange tattoo on its forehead.

It leaps off the rooftop, landing on the ground. "That's it!" the scratching elf says, pointing. "One of the creatures I told you about!"

The creature grins, its small, yellow eyes revealing a dark intelligence.
