Jocelyn looks inside the room, and frowns. "He probably kept his experiments in here considering how big those cages are."

Ouragana enters carefully after Dahn. she crouches bsside the blackened skeletons. "I wonder if he burned his victims afterwards, or if someone else did it."
She stands up again and concentrates. Using a cantrip, she tries to find out if the aura of magic is weaker here than it was in the other rooms, like there had been a maintenance spell there and not here.

Granite moves deeper into the room, exploring and looking for anything of interest. In the far northwestern corner of the room, he finds a well made leather quiver, empty of arrows. It has intricate etchings on it. The gnome recognizes them as being elven runes.
Meanwhile, Ouragana enters the room and, making sure to stand at least 30 feet away from Granite so his lightning dagger or potion of fire resistance don't interfere, she casts a divination cantrip to determine if there is any magic in the room. She senses none at all.
=========
Ouragana uses a cantrip. She has 6 remaining.

"There doesn't seem to be anything of interest in here," Jocelyn admits.

"Except this quiver. May I?" He fires an arrow at a blank wall from that quiver.

(Ooc: oh yeah, I had forgotten that Dahn knows Elven.)
"I don't think anyone would object." Dahn replies.

Gallath reaches into the quiver, but it is empty. It holds no arrows for him to shoot.
"Did you find something?" asks Thaddeus to Ouragana and Granite.

Gallath places one of his arrows in the quiver, then fires an arrow at a blank wall from that quiver.

Baeros looks at the wall then at Gallath... "Man, you got one hit on your head too much! What in the name of Crizza are you doing??"

Gallath places one of his sheaf arrows into the quiver and waits one minute. "What are you doing?" asks Thaddeus, but the elf ignores him and then pulls the arrow out of the quiver, aims at the wall and fires. Baeros questions his sanity as the arrow sinks into the wall and vibrates. A moment later, there is a hissing sound and smoke begins to emerge from the wall as some kind of corrosive begins to eat through the wall and the arrow itself. By the time the arrow's head is gone and the tail falls to the ground, a small hole has been burned through the wall, letting in a narrow slit of sunlight from outside.
"Acid," remarks Thaddeus. He looks back to Gallath. "How in the world did you know it would do that?" he asks.

"And whatever has been doing that, it was not magical" Ouragana says importantly. "I checked for magic, and this room doesn't hold any."

"Well, it would have to be magical wouldn't it? Jocelyn asks as she backs out of the room. She starts walking towards the club door, so that she can use her key. "I mean, I don't think acid is just sitting at the bottom of the quiver."

"Well, I kept away from Granite when I was searching for magic, so that's possible" Ouragna admits. But the room itself is devoid of magic, unlike almost everything else in this house.
You know what I believe? Whatever was kept in here has escaped and killed the wyvern. His diary entries didn't hint at plans to leave."

"You checked the other rooms for magic, as well?" asks Thaddeus, not remembering witnessing that. "What did you find?"
Jocelyn steps out into the hall and approaches the club door, Brock right behind her. Using the key, she hears the audible click of the door unlocking and the trap on it disarming. Opening it, she reveals what appears to be a library. Each wall has a full-sized bookshelf stretching across it, six feet in height. The shelves are full of ancient tomes, many of them crumbling with age.
In the center-left of the room are four armor stands, each wearing a different kind of armor. One is wearing padded armor, one is wearing studded leather, one is wearing black leather, and the last one is wearing some kind of strange green coral armor.
In the center-right of the room is a desk with nothing on it. However, there is a creature flying nearby it. It is humanoid, about a foot shorter than even Granite, and has leathery, bat-like wings, a barbed tail and sharp, bone-white twisted horns. Its skin is dark red and perhaps most curiously, it is carrying a little feather-duster. It is busily dusting the desk and seems quite surprised by Jocelyn's entrance.

"Whoa, hey!" it cries, nearly dropping the feather-duster. "What the...who are...where didya..," it stutters in the Common tongue with a strange accent. "Wait, you ain't Oni...or trolls." He sniffs the air. "Yer human. And a dwarf? Holy crap, I ain't seen actual cutters in over three hundred years! Are ya here to spring me from this boirdcage?"

"...Spring you from this bird cage?" Jocelyn asks in confusion. She was equally surprised upon seeing some strange creature cleaning the room instead of attacking them. Though, that didn't mean she wasn't on guard. "Well, I suppose we could, but I don't even know who or what you are."
