"You were a warrior?" He asks with admiration. "And I'm drinking Beer." Eldon says with a wink, maybe this Priest was going to be ok, "I'll help, if you like." He stands.

"You staying or going?" He asks Angel with a wink, nice people.

"I am getting an early night, soon." Sitting down for a moment she smiles at Liri. "A beer, also please Bastian."

"I don't generally like beer" Liri confesses. "I prefer things made from fruit, not from grain"

(OOC: This holds true for me, too. But what I got here: http://www.batzen.it the last few evenings was just great...)

"A wine?" Angel asks, keeping near the elf.

Liri shakes her head. "I will only drink water tonight, I think."

"Yeah I can get that." Smiling he walks to the Bar.

Bastian rises and starts toward the bar. "Don't be too impressed. I was the camp cook. I did all the same drill training that the others did when starting out, but after that they get a bit more lax on the practice. The troops get a bit miffed if they finish field drills and they have no food to eat."

As the reach the bar and place the order, Bastian raises the tankard (Cup, mug, flagon?) of beer and starts to say a blessed prayer to the god of fermentation. ((*Casting In Vino Veritas*)) As he finishes, he hands the tankard over to the newcomer and says "Many blessings upon you! May our journey be uneventful!" after a brief pause he adds, "Well....maybe not TOO uneventful!"

"After the journey we have had so far?" Angel asks raising her glass to the Cleric, "Let our journey be what it is." She comments, nudging Liri.

"We have all carried out chores we do not like, I was stuck with the Horses." Eldon says with a wink as they collect the drinks.

"To new friends." He says as he sits back down, raising his glass to the others.

Lacking a glass to rise, Liri nods with a smile In response to Eldon's toast.

After some time, during a lull in the conversation, she nudges Angel. "Shall we?"

Eldon would have brought her water.

Angel stands in agreement, drinking her beer quickly.

Going to the bar involves, literally, going to the bar, as in the bar next door. The eatery consists of a bunch of dining tables under a sideless tent, with an adjacent tent holding several charcoal grilles and an iron flat top where the food is prepared. The tavern next door does have a walk-up counter, though, where you can purchase beer or wine in cheap wooden cups.

Fraso finishes his meal quietly (for a change). In fact, most of the group forgets he is there after a very short time. It is Hiric who eventually speaks up, answering Angel's question about lodging. His tone carries a small amount of disdain as he says: "Master Fraso has been invited to lodge at the commander's villa. My sister and I will accompany him."
Fraso speaks up then: “I doubt that there will be any additional protection will be needed – above that which the militia can provide. So you may have the evening off, if you like. With pay. All I ask is that you be on time tomorrow, at the villa an hour past dawn. We may be taking a brief trip.”

"I am surprised then, Master Fraso, that I have not been asked to join you at the commander's villa, at least for the talks in the evening. I am, after all, an emissary of my people and not part of your bodyguard." Liri does her best to look Fraso directly in the eye and stay focused.

Angel says nothing, she knew her place, she was nothing more than a simple Bodyguard.
