Locky does her best to drag Babuskha away for a moment, checking her wounds if she can.

(Is it too late to save her from the poison?)

(ooc: Babushka definitely needs to level, she has far too few hit points. Hope I will roll better than 1 when time comes.)

The spider ignores the gnome for now, instead turning toward the bigger threat, Jerrard. It bites at him, but the wizard evades.

Locky drags Babushka a short distance away, and begins bandaging and treating her wounds. While this is happening, Jerrard starts stabbing wildly at the spider in rage, but his attacks are sloppy and undisciplined, allowing the spider to easily dodge them.

Sunni cries out as the other spider attacks her again. However, the clumsy beast slips in the gnome's blood, causing it to fall to the ground again. This is, clearly, the world's unluckiest spider. Realizing the time to act is now, Sunni and Wingnut quickly finish reloading their weapons. They may not have another opportunity to finish it off.

(OOC: Jenara, the rules state you must act within one round of poisoning. However, as you know, I modified the natural healing rules so that no longer applies. So she can try and treat her for poison. However, doing so will take five rounds of consecutive, uninterrupted care. At that point, Babushka will be allowed a new saving throw with an extra +2 bonus. But, going this route takes Locky out of the battle and means Jerrard and the two engineers are left on their own.

Another option would be to drop a cure spell on Babushka, bringing her back to consciousness. She can then perform an herbalism check on herself, possibly negating the poison. This would allow Locky to jump back into the battle.

A third option is to do both, in case the first one doesn't work. But again, it means removing yourself from the fight for five rounds.)

"They need me." Locky Mutters, calling on Paladine she helps Babuskha regain consciousness.

(Cast cure light wounds, no dice, but it puts her back on 1 right?)

"Babuskha, you need to treat the poison in you, please, they need me." Stroking the Gnomes hair she glances at Jerrard, who sighs in relief.

Jerrard draws back his blade, attempting to strike the creature once more.

He relaxes when he sees Locky treating Babuskha.

Jerrard, distracted by the sight of Locky healing Babushka, lets his guard down for only a moment. But it's enough for the spider to bite his left hand, which almost immediately begins to swell up from the poison.

The divine energy of Paladine flows from Locky to Babushka, restoring her to consciousness. However, her spider bites still burn.

Jerrard stabs at the spider, but the giant beast evades the weapon.

The two engineers fire their weapons at the other spider. Wingnut nicks it, but Sunni misses altogether. The spider gets back on its feet, shakes itself, and is now ready to finish what it started.

Huge Spider 02 gets back to its feet. It is no longer prone.

Babushka tries to remember what should be done about her poisoning (herbalism check here) but unfortunately is too dizzy to remember what could be done with the items at hand.

Locky fights back a little tear, it was not supposed to happen like this, they'd stopped the baddie and instead they were going to die from a silly bunch of spiders.

Letting loose two stones from her hoopak she aims at the spider now attacking Jerrard.

(No access to Invis castle right now.. Can you roll for me please?)

Seeing Babuskha stand he sighs in relief, he grunts in pain as the poison flows into his system, yet continues his assault on the spider.

(Two attacks, sorry to be a pain, will be back to speed later)

Sunni evades another spider bite. There's no time to reload her gun. Instead, she makes a break for the southeastern corner of the chamber. The spider nips at her halfheartedly as she passes by, but misses. It then turns its attention to the real prize down here--the horses.

Wingnut backs up to the southwestern corner, leaving the horses completely exposed. These two are just simple engineers, after all, not warriors. They are not cut out for this kind of thing.

Babushka, dizzy and still light-headed from her near-death experience, fumbles about, unable to find a way to counteract the poison in her system that is slowly making its way toward her heart.

Jerrard and the other spider exchange blows, but neither can bypass the other's defenses. Locky slams her hoopak into the ground and slings two rocks at it, but one misses entirely and the second only nicks one of the spider's legs.
