So which way did the wyvern with Tanis on it go?

(OOC: It is currently taking off now, not going in any direction except up at the moment.)

Watching the Wyverns take off, Sturm makes a tough choice, they were alive, at least for now, you don't take prisoners just to kill them, he had no ranged weapon, thus he was powerless. So, those who were dying were his priority.

Running over to Tika and Laurana, "We need to get those Elves away from the creatures, they need to realise they will die if they engage them like that! Laurana cover me, I am going to try to help them."

He does not say that Tanis and Gilthanas had been taken, not yet, not to Laurana anyway.
(Assume that takes his round? If not he moves towards Elf #1)

Laurana nods in agreement, moving around the trees she yells: "Fall back, they turn to Acid!" to the Elven woman, letting loose two arrows as she moves clear.

Init 2, Hit AC 0 for 4 damage and AC 3 for 8 damage.

Tas misses on his attack when he throws a stone at the wyvern. The order of his attack is a moot point.

Tika still remains in full defense. "You need to back away from them if you can," she shouts out to the elves near the draconians.

Riverwind turns and fires two arrows at the wyvern.

Sturm, Tika and Laurana all yell at the elves to abscond, but the kapaks won't let them. For every step back they take, the kapaks take one step forward.

Sturm hurries forward in hopes of reaching one of the elves to help. But Laurana's arrow beats him to it. It sinks into the kapak the elf was fighting, killing him. The acid pool he forms drenches the elf, burning off his skin. He screams in agony before finally finding relief in death.

Meanwhile, Riverwind and Tasslehoff ignore the kapaks altogether to focus their fire on the wyvern as it passes over. Only one arrow hits, though, and it doesn't even slow the creature down.

Goldmoon approaches the last surivving female elf, and yanks her out of the acid. She takes exception to this, as she was going to step out of the acid on her own. She didn't need to be pulled out like some kind of moron. Her complaints die on her lips, though, when Goldmoon's divine power heals her of all her wounds. She is stunned, but only momentarily. She quickly whips out her bow again and starts firing at another kapak.

Toede, unsatisfied with his two prisoners, pilots the wyvern across the battlefield. He tosses over a net, which ensnares both Flint and Raistlin in it. The wyvern then lifts higher, taking the two entangled companions with it. Toede then begins piloting the wyvern away.

"Hey!" the kapak who had been fighting Flint shouts. "Where the Abyss are you going?!"

"Your loyalty is touching, my little kapaks! To give your lives is all that my grandness could ask of you!" the hobgoblin responds.

"Toede, you son of a bitch!" the draconian roars upon realizing he and his companions are going to be left behind.

Goldmoon looks around. There were two kapaks left near the paralyzed Caramon, but everyone else was closer to them than her. So she decides to run over towards Kapak 2 - in an arc so the freshly healed elven warrior would have a clear line of fire - and fire her sling at him from short range.

INIT 14, would hit AC 7 for 3 dmg

Sturm rounds behind the unconscious Caramon staring up at the Wyvern above and engaging beside the elven warrior. "Fall back, you have seen what happens when they die."

Init 5, Hit AC 1, 8 damage.

Seeing the Wyverns fly over she lets loose two arrows at the creature above her.

Magpie reacts finally, the fear she had been feeling slowly subsiding (ok I forgot her!) she too fires at the Wyvern if she can.

After seeing the effect his arrow had on the wyvern, or lack thereof, Riverwind switches target, firing at the fat hobgoblin.

"Damn Toede," the kapak grumbles. "If we're going to die, we'll take as many of you with us," he says. He looks around for a new target, now that Flint and Raistlin are gone. The nearest one is Tasslehoff. The kapak walks up to the kender and stabs him, dropping him into unconsciousness again.

Sturm moves northward, engaging the kapak there and allowing the elf fighting him to withdraw and ready his bow safely. Sturm also manages to cut into the kapak pretty badly, wounding him significantly. So much so, the kapak actually drops his own sword in the process.

While Laurana and Magpie fire at the wyvern, Goldmoon engages the same kapak as Sturm, but her stone flies overhead and hits nothing.

The elf maiden that Goldmoon just rescued turns her bow on the kapak that just took out Tas. However, both of her arrows miss. This is probably just as well, for had the kapak died, his acid would have drenched the unconscious handler.

Riverwind ignores the draconians and the wyvern, and instead focuses his ire on the fat hobgoblin piloting the wyvern. Toede shrieks in pain at the arrows bite and quickly starts snapping the reins. "Get going, get going!" he cries. The wyvern begins flying upward, higher and higher into the night sky.
