Act 1, Scene 1: "Together in Harmony" (Game Thread)

[Jenara]

Mira sits on her bed holding her head, "This is far too strange," she says quietly watching Cal.

[Nocturno]

"Looks like we have a 3rd." Pyros will finsh whatever drink is on the table, and start towards the stairs.

[Namenlos]

"New strangers in our midst once more. Aye, to sleep and see what tomorrow yields." Replies Yasir as he makes his way to the room.

[Jenara]

Standing Mira moves to the door, opening it wide she waits for the others, knowing she could lift the gnome but rather not taking the chance.

[Jenara]

"Merrick" she mutters, leaving the Gnome in her room wasn't ideal but to the Abyss with it, scampering down the stairs she looks for the Half Elf.

Mira waits a moment, and Elsa appears at the head of the stairs as she decides to go down to the common room.

Merrick bids Yasir and Pyros goodnight, as he heads for the door. As they reach the stairs, Mira reaches the ground floor.

Once upstairs Yasir unlocks their room, which appears to be just across the hall from Elsa's, as she turns into it. The door to the girls' room is still open, and Cal is seated on the spare bed within.

Once in the boys' room, the Kender picks a spot in the center of the room and starts emptying out the large sacks he has tied around his waist. A myriad of nic-nacks, feathers, flowers, beads, papers, nuts, berries, stones, string, drawing utensils and all manner of other junk comes falling out. The pile quickly becomes impossible to sort through, but a few items do stick out: A smashed pastry, an unidentified vial, a human-sized pair of brown breeches, a grappling hook, silver dagger with no sheath, two more small pouches, a torn set of bloodied robes and an oil flask. The amount of stuff is staggering, and quickly clutters the floor.

As Mira reaches the common room, she sees Merrick on his way to the door. He spots her as well, and pauses a moment expectantly.

[Nocturno]

Pyros will put on the pants and walk around his pile of loot like a kid in his dads pants. Scooping up the dagger, and the purple flowers.

Something about the pants seems very familiar to Yasir. As Pyros tugs them on and tromps about, the legs of the garment trailing behind as he holds them up with one hand. He gathers the pretty flowers and silver dagger, watching it gleam in the lamplight.

The pile begins to move a bit, and one little white and one little black mouse begin scurrying about and searching. Thw white mouse snags a blackberry, while the other goes after a walnut...

[Nocturno]

"Oh oh my pretties!" Pyros will try to scoop up the mice. Dropping the dagger and flowers.

[Jenara]

"I just wanted to.. We i guess I wanted to thank you." Blushing her face goes almost as red as her hair as she approaches him and hand in front of her. "You've been really supportive, and helpful." Standing at arms length she tilts her head and grabs his shoulder.

"I guess I have to get ready for bed, I'll see you tomorrow? I want to find out why I was told to get silver, like-" Feeling for her silver dagger her face goes red this time with anger. "That damn Kender. Just wait till I.."spinning on her heels she storms up the stairs, and charges into the boys room.

"I'll have that please!" Grabbing her dagger she turns to the Kender. "I understand you can't help who you are, but if you want to stay here.." Seeing the Kender face she throws her hands in the air. "It's useless.. Cal is sleeping in your room. I'm going to bed.." She sees Elsas robe. "I think I'll return this to its rightful owner.. goodnight. " with that she spins on her heels and walks into her room.

Common Room
Merrick appears a little surprised at Mira’s thanks, It is nothing. I enjoyed our talk… and learning more of what happened to Krynn… it fills some gaps in our past. Many others might be interested as well, though I’m not sure how many will believe all of it… I have some errands in the morning tomorrow, but I will be at my cousin’s shop around noon. When I am done there I can meet you, or if you would like to come by the shop then.


Boys' Room
Spotting the movement pyros drops the dagger and flowers, scooping up a mouse in each hand. The oversized pants fall to the floor. Oh oh My pretties! he calls to them. About that time Mira storms in, seeing the pile of nic-nacks, feathers, flowers, beads, papers, nuts, berries, stones, string, drawing utensils and all manner of other junk comes falling out. A few items stick out, including a smashed pastry, an unidentified vial, a human-sized pair of brown breeches around the Kender’s feet, a grappling hook, two more small pouches, an oil flask, a torn set of bloodied robes that appear to be Elsa’s and what looks suspiciously like her silver dagger!


"I'll have that please!" Grabbing her dagger she turns to the Kender. "I understand you can't help who you are, but if you want to stay here.." Seeing the Kender face she throws her hands in the air. "It's useless.. Cal is sleeping in your room. I'm going to bed.." She sees Elsas robe. "I think I'll return this to its rightful owner.. "

[OOC: only thing is, the map was never mentioned in the main thread. There are about 5 rolled up pieces of paper that could be maps: 2 blank and 3 with maps. Only one of the maps is the one I suspect she is after…]

[OoC: You mean the map of my home village isn't what she wants?]

Standing in the corridor letting herself breathe Mira relaxes, she was under pressure, her heart was pounding so loudly it was surprising no one else heard it.

Taking a moment she lifts her top and inserts the dagger somewhere the Kender would hopefully not have his hands before entering her room.

"Here, it seems out light fingered friend borrowed a few things." She says passing over the robe as she enters.

Girls' Room
When Mira shows up, Elsa ushers Cal out into the hall where he can see the boys' door is stil open. Closing the girls' door, Elsa turns back to the bard. My what? Why would he... she looks at the torn, bloody robes; obviously confused. Was he going to try to fix them? She accepts the offered garment.

[Jenara]

"Kender... How to describe Kender?" Mira flops on her bed, pulling off her boots. "Kender are like birds we know on Krynn called Crows.. They collect things that attract their attention, they don't look for money or power, they want things that glitter and shine... Or something that reminds them of a place or a person."

Retrieving her dagger she flips it in her hand. "He took this, because it shines, your robe because it reminds him of you." Reaching through her pack she pulls out a night shirt. "I'm not sure if I should be flattered or angry.

" OK, I'm getting ready for bed. It's been a long day."
