Taking the torch from Elden with a sigh he remarks "maybe we should have thought through the sight thing a bit better."

Keeping Dran close now the light had gone Katten moves forward, in her mind she sends reassuring thoughts towards the Wolf as she shifts quietly through the tunnels, mindful of what is ahead, without speaking she motions for silence and begins to move through the tunnels, an arrow notched and ready.

"If I am going to be the target because if this blasted torch I may as well try to be a healthier pincushion" Jordek mutters to himself as he casts another cure light wounds on himself.

Stay behind me and all they will see is my silhouette for their target! Elden will say with a wicked grin.

[Names in marching order]
Linar, Dellinanth, Elden and Jordek:
Linar creeps a little further forward out of the torchlight and lets his eyes adjust. The wild-elf follows closely, moving quietly. Just outside the light, the pair see a narrow crack in a corner of the wall that they might be able to squeeze through if necessary. Another natural passage leads to the Southwest, and a much wider area extends directly West. The Drow sees farther in the darkness, spotting the West wall over 100 feet away. To the south, beyond the southwest passage there seems to be some kind of makeshift grating or closure on the south wall; possibly a door but from this distance he can’t be certain. The ceiling near the wall is only about 5 feet high, sloping gently upward to the north and interspersed with stalactites just as small stalagmites dot the ground in various places.
Katten, Dran, Indendien and Nocturno
Katten moves carefully into the southeast passage peering far down. The 10-15 foot wide natural space extends to the edge of her vision, as she just barely catches the hint of a bend southward.

Arrow nocked, Linar quietly moves 25' due SW looking around at he goes. A visible foe get an arrow and then, unless here are no foes conscious & aware aware of the attack, Linar quietly falls back to behind the more armored of the group.
Otherwise, after a good look south Linar cuts back to the NW then follows the west wall northwards, looking north, and after 15' the elf peers around the corner (looking west). With frequent looks to the north, the scout follows the south wall due westward. [Half movement (total 60')should leave him within 5' east of the feature (door or grill?) in the south wall he's following.]
Glancing north again, Liner Switches to full stealth mode (MS, HS) to creep up to the feature, glancing around and then, assuming it is a grill or something similar, looks south through it. Otherwise he creeps past heading west, looking around all the while (until he runs out of movement.)

Has Linar been in these caves before?

Elden back with the gnome keeping the scout out of the torch light, glancing at the gnome as he heals himself.
==================================
Nocturno patiently follows long sword ready to cover Katten if a group of goblins appears.

"We go wrong way, this is where small ones are." She places one furry hand on her head and considers things, "We head this way, check, then change direction." Arrow still notched she plans to shoot anything goblin that comes her way as she continues SE.

Jordek follows the human keeping just behind him with the torch, glad to have a pin cushion in front of him.

Katten, Dran, Indendien and Nocturno
Katten leads her group southeast towards where the passage turns southward. As they near the bend, Katten and the elves spot a crevice in the northeast portion of the wall barely wide enough for an unarmored elf to squeeze through.
Linar, Dellinanth, Elden and Jordek:
Linar begins to move southwest, Dellinanth following close behind. Before he gets more than 5 feet, he spots a pair of goblins to the northwest near a wall. Linar raises his bow, prepared to fire…

After a pause, if there's any indication he's been seen (or otherwise detected) by either of the two goblins then Linar will take the shot.
Otherwise he turn holds up a hand to Dellinanth in the universal sign to stop, then points back to the armoured fellows (and light source) and indicated that they should stop. He makes a sharp, open handed gesture to the elf and then those behind requesting Dellinanth to make it so. Assuming the advance of the light is stopped before it alerts the goblins, Linar continues on his previously intended scouting plan.
