The groups reunite around the southernmost corner of the Ziggurat as Pyros finishes examining the back wall.
If there is an entrance, perhaps it is on one of the higher tiers... Adrestia offers.

"I'd guess in the top," offers Jerry. "Unless the whole thing is a magnificent distraction and the entrance is hidden tens of yards away. But that's probably just me being silly."
She rubs her chest with a forearm. "As we can't all sneak past the skeletons, at some point we'll need to either walk away, which we won't. Or else see if they're proximity triggered. Ummm I mean that they're commanded with something like 'attack anything that comes within such and such distance'. For that we should have missiles ready and with our fastest or nimblest runner to approach from the corner. Hopefully just activate a couple rather than all of them." The mage wrinkles her nose, "Long winded. Sorry. I do that."

Pytor breathes a slight sigh of relief as Mira's group comes into view. "It was no longer than it needed to be, Lady Jerry." The gypsy replies with a warm smile. "They have no eyes, so how they see or sense is a mystery." Stepping close Pytor takes Jerry's hand. "Please do not be offended by my question, milady. I am but a simple nomad and would no sooner call into question your wisdom as I would your exceptional beauty... But what good shall bolts and arrows be against something without flesh to wound or blood to spill?"

"I'll check it out" The group will hear Pyros bolt to the wall, and start to scramble up.

"Well, Pytor, the simple answer is that if you break up their physical bodies beyond a certain point the necromantic energies involved are insufficient bind them together: they fall apart," answers Jerry, getting into her stride. "As the skeletons have less soft tissue, that's muscle and so forth, then piercing and slashing weapons have less to target. To look at it another way, crushing weapons are more effective."

"You are saying that their bones are the vessel for the magic that gives them a semblance of life, and if we damage the vessel enough that magic will falter?" Pytor brings Jerry's hand to his lips and lightly kisses her fingers. "I thank you, milady for not making this ignorant soul look any more foolish than he already does. Your answer has birthed a dozen more questions on my part. But now is not the time to pester you with my curiosities. Another time hopefully, one when this expedition is just an unpleasant memory."
After grasping how the best to deal with situation per the cleric's explanation, Pytor readies his warhammer. "Who is up front and where do we start?"

Jerry smiles neutrally, confirming, "Yes, exactly. We should wait for Pyros.
On retrieving her hand the Mystran looks at Merrick to make sure he's not put out, smiles her best and warmest smile for him, and then refocuses on pyramid and its undead defenders.

As the others rejoin them Mira listens to the comments on the animated bones, "So, we bash them. I'm not exactly equipped to fight these things. I'll do what I can with magic. Magic... wait. Pyros. I want you to try something. They don't seem to be paying attention to us, what would happen if you got closer?"
(Her idea is to see if they react to invisible things?)

"I think I should make someone invisible and they should go up to the first level with Pyros. Someone who can defend him if needed." She steps back, excluding herself from that list. "I have a few spells, but these.." She taps the blades, "Arent much use against them."

I'll go. Elsa says, simultaneously. Blushing, she looks to the others. Well, all of my weapons are made for this, and I can call on divine aid to drive them away or heal if things go badly...

"I should go. It's my duty and what I'm trained for," says Jerry, fractionally later. "Just nowhere near so many."
She smiles bravely at Merrick.
