Re: CH 4: Solanthus
"I believe we would need two more rooms." Erastin asks stepping forwards with a smile, looking at Galenye, he does not interrupt her, instead he assumes she will go on her own again, "Do you have any way to house my dear friend, he is a Minataur, and one of the best friends a Knight can have. Well, a Knight Aspirant."
Re: CH 4: Solanthus
The man eyes the minotaur warily. "We do have a room with a doublebed that he might be able to use as a single. But anything he breaks, he pays for."
Re: CH 4: Solanthus
"I am sure nothing will get broken, eh my friend?" He nudges Kathros gently, "Meals all round would be good too."
Re: CH 4: Solanthus
"And some mead for me too.....please" He adds. "Perhaps we could share two bed Karathos, I only need a corner."
He then proceeds to locate a large table for the group, and walks over to take a seat.
Sticking his feet out in front of him "Ohh, my tired feet, not used to running to keep up."

Re: CH 4: Solanthus
Galenye pays for her own room and meal as well before she joins Targin at a table. "I think I'm going to explore the city a little after I eat," she says.
Re: CH 4: Solanthus
Erastin pays for a room of his own and some food, sitting down at the same table, keeping his distance from Galenye. "I need to go meet the Knights, tell them about the Bandits, and the Girl. Plus we have the Light Gem to talk about too."

Re: CH 4: Solanthus
"After we get healed up, I figure we can search out the merchant that sells the light gems tomorrow," Galenye says.
Re: CH 4: Solanthus
"That sounds like a decent plan, I would like to go to the Knights, but." He hangs his head. "Honestly, I need a rest, I am quite injured, Targin would probably say its my own fault."

Re: CH 4: Solanthus
"We had this conversation once, Erastin," Galenye points out. "You made a mistake. You can each beat yourself up over it, or you can learn from it."
Re: CH 4: Solanthus
"Indeed we did, sorry, it is part of being a Knight I suppose. Considering your actions." He sits back in his chair, waiting for the others.
Re: CH 4: Solanthus
"Well yes, that is a good idea. The two of us should fit into a double bed easily" Karathos says to Targin, nodding affectionately, a little surprised.
He puts a steel piece on the counter and waits for his change, pocketing it with a polite thank-you before joining the others at the table. He moves smoothly and with care, showing off his dexterity to all who suspect him to be a clumsy thing-breaker...

Re: CH 4: Solanthus
About five minutes after they sit down, a waiter approaches them with a tray. He sets a large pitcher of mead before them and passes glasses around for each of them. He also serves them the meals they ordered.
Selowen has a nice salad, as she doesn't like the idea of eating animals at all if she can get away with it.
"If you need anything else, just holler. Oh, and here are the room keys you ordered. He places four keys on the table, as well.
===========
Galenye pays 5 silver for a room.
Erastin pays 5 silver for a room.
Karathos pays 5 silver for a room.
Selowen pays 5 silver for a room.
(OOC: You can have your character's meal be whatever you want. Assume that what you ordered, regardless, costs 1 silver. The mead Targin ordered costs 2 silver.)

Re: CH 4: Solanthus
Karathos had ordered salad and bread, he doesn't feel like eating much with his stomach wound, and he certainly won't take any of the mead. In fact, he shifts around uneasily and gets up soon, gathering up the key to his room. "I'll bring up my things and give the key back to you, Targin" he tells the dwarf. Up in their room, he puts his backpack into a corner, taking just his purse with him. He brings back the key to Targin, then asks the waiter or barkeeper for directions to the temple of Paladine.
(OOC: Does the money he owns suffice to pay for the healing?)

Re: CH 4: Solanthus
(OOC: Magical healing costs 10 steel per HP restored, and Karathos has 8 steel, so...nope. You guys should probably split up the spoils from the goblins and ogres before going shopping.)
Re: CH 4: Solanthus
Remembering he does not have the funds to pay for his healing, yet being in quite some pain, Karathos walks back to the group's table. "I'm sorry to disturb you. But I feel fever coming, I need to go to Paladine's temple quickly. Can we go up and split up what we found with the gnomes and ogres, or could you borrow me some money you will get back once we've split up?" he asks quietly. Indeed, his eyes have a strange gleam about them.
