Locky sets to work, using all of her divine power to heal everyone either to full health, or very close to it. Thuskar, once he is healed, goes to the storeroom and finds a small barrel in decent shape. He brings it out into the entrance hall and sets it down, removing the lid. "This should do," he says.

"Shame there is no way to purify the barrel first." Locky mutters, instead she casts bless (to purify the barrel, and to lift the parties spirit)

Then she casts create water on the cask.

The barrel is suddenly almost half-way filled with fresh, pure water. It should be enough that when added to their current stock, last them nearly a week.

Thuskar puts the lid back on and with Ulster's help, the two manage to strap it to Dekker without any problem.

"Hopefully, that'll last awhile," Thuskar remarks.

Ulster shrugs. "She can always make more later, once we run low, right?"

"Good point. So are we ready to head out now?" asks Thuskar.

=============

Locky casts Bless on the party. Everyone receives a +1 to hit and +1 to fear saves until further notice.
Locky casts Create Water, filling the barrel with 20 gallons of fresh water.

"It is the middle of the day now, so it is blazing outside," Imani points out. "Though, if Locky can also create food, then I guess we are set to make that week's trip. Though, the sun is going to be our biggest problem, and I still need to find my horse."

"Can't change the weather, though," Thuskar points out. "So nothing we can do about that. But we still have Locky's protection from the heat, right? So it won't be so bad this time."

"Well, ummm." Locky shuffles her feet, "Paladine doesn't give me the power too make food. I wish he did."

"Paladine can protect you from the heat, he's good like that, but I need to rest, my powers are almost spent." Locky say oh so seriously, her face screwed in concentration. "Five can get protected, you better decide who.."

"Sorry Imani. Jerrard responds, he hand been lost in his own thoughts. "It will wear off in time, but you need simply to disbelive the spell. It is simply a low level illusion."

Jerrard attempts to disbelive his own spell. (Can you roll for me please?)

"What about travelling by night? Don't the moons give us enough light? It will be a lot cooler then." Babushka enquires.

"Rest...again? The longer we stay here, the less food we're going to have to make the journey," Thuskar points out. "And if we travel by night," he adds, looking to the gnome, "we'll move much slower, even if there was much moonlight to go by."

"You make it sound like we're doomed, no matter what we do," Ulster points out.

"Maybe we are," Thuskar admits. "But staying here will make things worse. At least if we go now, there's always a chance we'll stumble upon an oasis or something to hunt."

Meanwhile, Jerrard attempts to disbelieve his own illusion, but fails to do so.

==========

(OOC: Remember, the party has enough food to last two days. If they rest another night, they'll only have one day less. Also, the white moon is new and the red moon is waning. The black moon is full, but that's not helpful. Anyway, long story short, traveling by night will reduce the party's movement rate by 1/3, meaning it will take even longer to get anywhere.

Jerrard makes a save to disbelieve (1d20): 9, fail.

Babushka looks at the two men and sighs. "You're right. Somehow, I seem to be beside myself in these strange lands. Alright. Let's face the desert, then."

Imani raises an eyebrow at Jerrard, but she tries to disbelieve the spell as well. Sadly, it doesn't work. "I still don't see my horse," Imani says. "If we are all walking, it is going to take us longer to get there," she admits. She decides to not say that without Locky's protection, they are likely to die before they make it anywhere. "Also, Syriana is going to need some protection from the sun. Her torn clothing isn't enough."

Disbelieve Spell (2, fail)

"I suppose we should go back out there then." She looks around trying to spot the horse.

Save vs spell: 1d20=19 Pass

"You know, your horse is right there Imani." She points directly at the horse with a smile.

"Ohhh Ahhhh, I can help with that!" She smiles producing some assorted clothes from her pack.

"What about the dead guy?" Ulster asks, gesturing to the dead dervish in the middle of the room that is beginning to become quite odorous. "Can strip his clothes off. They might be a bit big on her. I doubt a kender's clothes would fit her, though," he points out.

Imani glances to the corpse, then nods. "Locky, could you lead Babuska over there to where Artemis is?" Imani says. "That way you two can ride upon her,"

She walks over to the dead guy, holds her breath, and begins stripping him down of his clothing. Once done, she hands them over to Syriana with a look of disgust on her face. "They aren't pretty, and they don't smell the best, but it will help protect you from the sun," she says sympathetically to her sister wife.

Syriana takes the clothes with a wrinkle of her nose. "Considering how filthy I am, I suppose the smell won't be much more burdensome. Thank you." She quickly pulls on the robes, ignoring the dried blood stains down the front where she had slit the man's throat.
