"I miss him already, I wish he knew how much I love him." Laurana blushes, "Well right now we are in this together, watch my back and I will watch yours?"

"Sounds good," Tika says cheerfully.

"It really isn't my place to say anything about any of that," Tika admits. "But, and I don't want to sound rude or anything, I can kind of see how your father might be looking at this."

"I can too, which is why I am so angry, everything he said is right." She lowers her head, going quiet.

"Well, I don't know if everything he said was right," Tika admits. "But, if I was looking at from his point of view, he probably thinks that you abandoned your people because you ran away to be with Tanis," she says. "In the end, both of you ended up abandoning each other."

"Such is our Love, I told Gilthanas everything when I was younger, he told my Father and that caused Tanis to be driven away. And now I have lost him once again." Looking at the girl as she walks through the tall trees she looks back to the group. "Do you know love? Is there someone special?"

"Well, uh," Tika says, giggling nervously. "There isn't anyone special right now, I guess. When I was younger, I only had eyes for Caramon," she admits. "But he was too busy off with all of his many lady friends."

"Well he is handsome." Laurana giggles back, it felt good to laugh like that, "He actually tried his charms on me." she giggles again, "I did think about it, for a few moments."

"Oh, he is very handsome," Tika admits. "But, then again, so is Sturm, Tanis, and even your brother," she pointed out with a grin. "I'm surrounded by all of these handsome men."

"Indeed you are, you must have seen many working in the Inn." She asks, looking back, indeed they were. "Do you miss the Inn, your family?"

"There were a few while working at the inn, but most were perverts," Tika admits with a sigh. "Otik was pretty much my family," she says as she runs her fingers through her hair. "So yeah, I miss him and Solace. I know that he is probably going to be okay. He has a way with people, and his food wins people over pretty quickly too."

"I saw the way you were treated by them, I couldn't do it." She blushes a deep crimson. "And yes, the Inn will survive, I suspect one day we will return to find the home fires burning."

"I am only 79... not even an Adult, I would be about 16 in your human years.. " Laurana admits, all this talk of men... she had no experience.

"I thought I wouldn't be able to handle it either, but you can sometimes surprise yourself," Tika says. "I'm only nineteen. I think pretty much everyone here is older than me, which is probably another reason why I'm treated like a little girl."
