Targin raises his axe, trying to knock the creature out. But his target suddenly falls over, an arrow sticking out of his side.

Meanwhile, Karathos swings Bonebiter at the last goblin, who nimbly dodges. He severely miscalculates the trajectory of Heartcleaver, however. Living up to its name, the axe cleaves the goblin's heart, and most of his torso, in twain.

And just like that, the battle is over.

Karathos attacks Goblin Raider 08 with Bonebiter (1d20+6): 12, miss and then with Heartcleaver (1d20+4): 13, hit for (1d8+9): 16 damage.

(OOC: Jerrard, you don't need to making a riding check to dismount, as evidenced by Targin and Ganeleye dismounting without rolls back in Round 01. Unless you want to dismount and make an attack roll in the same round, then you do need to roll. Also, Breila, you forgot to include your STR bonus to hit.)

Karathos bends down to wipe his axes on one of the goblins who has pieces of clothing fit to the tasks, and proceeds to gather up Galeyne's arrows. He brings them to the path and hands them to her with a simple "Here you are." Turning to Jinali, he says: "I guess you won't want to ride someone with as much blood splattered all over his armor, do you? I'll wash up as soon as we will get to a stream."

As luck would have it, all five of the arrows that Galeneye used are still intact.

Selowen wrinkles her nose. "Not just blood, but goblin's blood. Ugh, I heard it takes forever to get the smell out." She covers her dainty nose with the sleeve of her robe.

The five arrows are returned to Galeneye's inventory.

"Well, Selowen, if you'd rather let goblins spill your blood instead of me spilling theirs, so your nose isn't affected, just let me know" Karathos says, a little impatiently.

"It wasn't necessary to spill anyone's blood at all," Selowen shoots back haughtily, crossing her arms. "I could have taken out the whole group with a sleep spell, had you not run into the fray, showing off." With irritation, she flicks away a single hair of hers that has managed to fall out of place.

"Yes, what did you think you were doing rushing off like that?" Erastin asks, tutting as he sheaves his blade. "Did I not say to hold?" He asks curiously, leaning down to the fallen Goblins.

Erastin notes that of the goblins whose bodies are still mostly intact, two of them still live...although not for much longer, at the rate they are bleeding out.

Karathos has not heard Erastin, as he is back on the trail with the ladies.

Targin is happy with the quick work, glad to have eliminated more of his hated foe.

He reaches up to slap the minotaur on the rump, "Great work bud, next time don't out run me though. If we guard each others backs, we can out last much more that a simple band of silly goblins."

As he too cleans his weapon we responds to Erastin "Ye must know me better than that boy, thems bein' goblins and all. And besides, who put you in command?"

He begins to loot the bodies, dispatching the last one, just to put it out of its misery.

Targin finds that the goblins each have a suit of leather armor, a short sword, and small shield. He also finds 67 silver pieces total.

Galenye takes her arrows back with a grin. "Thanks. Though, next time don't be so hasty to rush forward like that. You were more of a target than the goblins were."

"No one of course, I simply stated a course of action that would be the least risky." Erastin replies to Targin as he walks Gallen back to the group.

Moving Gallenye off to one side if he can he talk to her he smiles. "Sorry, I was trying to deal with the situation, do you wish to join me once more, or has this upset you?" He blushes, unsure what else to say.

"Since we're only a day out, we wanna pack any of this for resale?" He puts the silver in his pouch. "67 sliver there was."

"I'm not upset," Galenye says. "But I think I'll walk for a little bit right now. I should be scouting ahead for more trouble anyway," she says with a shrug and grin.

"I guess you're right" Karathos tells Galeyne. "I'm simply not used to being in a group with someone who has a bow"
