Act 1, Scene 1: "Together in Harmony" (Game Thread)

Are Kender really that bad? she asks. Well, I guess I don't need much gear for breakfast, she laughs, keeping only her pouches. Do you mind if I leave my stuff here? She stands ready to head downstairs at Mira's answer.

[Jenara]

"He is just being... him, they really dont mean to cause any trouble, yet somehow they do. If you would have seen the things he had collected." Making a little sound of dissaproval she nods. "Leave what you want here, I usually do, I dont usually take most of my weapons, armor or pack, just the dagger." Slipping her own pouches round her waist she also moves to the doorway. "Besides its your room too." Opening the door she locks it tightly and pauses. "I'll be down in a moment."

When Elsa walks away she stands by the door, singing gently yet a with a harsh tone.
"Howl, Howl, Howl like the awakened, let the wolves howl, if the door be opened. (Cantrips [1d20] = 3: Pass).

When she is done she joins the girl downstairs.

Descending to the common area, Mira sees there are only a few people up at this hour. Guilliam was awake and he, along with a server, were cleaning up the place and looking after the patrons. Elsa had taken a spot at their table from the night before. From what she can see on other tables, breakfast consists of sunny-side up eggs, hearty winter greens, and small links of smoked sausage. Guilliam sees her, and makes his way over shortly. Morning, ladies. I hope you rested well, what can I prepare for you?

[Jenara]

"Oh a bit of everything please, and the same for Elsa here." She offers Guilliam a wide smile. "And thank you for everything you have done." Placing her hand on his shoulder she continues. "Your rooms are as comfortable as they are fair." Taking a seat next to Elsa she translates for the girl.

"I have to stop doing that." She says out loud as Guillam goes to arrange their food, "We don't have your kind on Krynn, well we have Kender but its not quite the same. See I keep thinking of you as a young girl, a child perhaps and frankly.." Mira blushes quite a deep Crimson. "Frankly you aren't."

Elsa looks a little embarrassed when Mira orders, not understanding the language. When she bard apologizes, she seems surprised. Oh... I didn't realize you thought that... I'm pretty tall for a halfling, though. she said, only mildly defensively. Don't worry about it, at least you were nice and didn't talk down to me like some humans do... some of the tall folk do that... I like you, though. You're pretty friendly, she laughs, blushing slightly.

With a small cough, she changes the subject. Thar dagger you have... is that pure silver?

The other server comes by to see if they would like anything to drink. Another patron enters, one of the locals, and Miracan tell it is growing windy outside.

[Ooc: They have Tea, coffee, water, and regular bar drinks.
Nocturno: It's not too far-fetched that the Kender is famished after having not eaten since before coming to town ]

[Ooc: It's been about 3 days since we heard from Namenlos or Spyguy, so I'll push the story forward a bit]

Yasir grunts and rolls over to try and get more sleep. Cal untangles himself and crawls back up to the bed, moving to the wall-side so he won't fall off again. He mumbles something incomprehensible before plopping himself down, then begins to snore lightly. Apparently the two are more interested in sleep than anything else at this early hour.

[Ooc: guys can act any tine you want, you don't have to wait to 'wake up' again]

[Nocturno]

Pyros will shrug his shoulders, which are already loosening up.

He will go into the hall and smell... BREAKFAST. He hadn't noticed how hungry he is.

He would bound downstairs and yell "Good morning ladies!!"

[Namenlos]

"To the hells with these crazies! Don't they know a true warrior needs at least 18 hours of rest between valorous deads, that last drinking quest was a real hair raiser." Mumbles Yasir to himself as he is finally able to pull himself from his bed.

As his dream from the night crosses his mind Yasir hurriedly raises his hands before his eyes to inspect them for fur or other rat like features and then makes a grab for his rear to check for a tail.

(OOC: Assuming that neither of those are present! lol)

Breathing out a deep breath as he realizes his humanity remains intact Yasir rises from the edge of the bed he had been sitting on. He quickly dresses throwing on a new pair of brown breeches and his red doublet(unbuttoned down the chest to show off his chiseled chest cause he's a beast!) he also forgoes his boots in preference for his sandals. Leaving most of his gear behind he trudges down the stairs with a yawn at his lips, a gold pouch at his belt and his silver short sword at his hip.

(OOC: Whoops, Sorryyyyyyy. I was trapped in my imagination and unable to reply, fortunately I have returned to reality with you all. wait... what?

Yasir quickly checks himself, but finds neither fur nor tail; though his face stubble is starting to come in. The warrior opens his pack to retrieve a pair of clean pants, and realizes one is missing. Looking around he finds them lying on the floor amid a few other odds and ends. Shrugging to himself he slips them on and tosses on his red doublet and steps into his sandals. Belting on the silver shortsword and his coin pouch he heads downstairs.

Common Room
Like a tiny herd of elephants, the Kender’s hurried footfalls tumble down the stairs. He hardly pauses at the bottom before spotting the ladies sitting at their table from the night before, a server standing by to take their drink order. Rushing up he bids them an enthusiastic ‘good morning’.

No sooner is Pyros to their table when Yasir makes his appearance, rather sparsely dressed for the chill morning. His broad, half-bare but densely muscled chest peeks out from the unbuttoned bright red doublet he wears. His brown breeches appear somewhat wrinkled and he has a light growth of stubble on his face. He quickly spots the trio from the foot of the stair. A bit of a chill nips at his toes and exposed skin, but a fire has already been laid near the stage and is doing a surprisingly good job of keeping the room comfortable enough.

[Jenara]

"Well yes you probably are tall for a Hafling, you are just the first one I've met. I doubt I'll ever meet a nicer one." Grinning she watches the stairs..

"Yes its silver, it was suggested that silver is.. Useful." She comments absentmindedly playing with the dagger, "Its funny I know I read something about silver.. But it eludes me." Seeing Pyros appear she hides the dagger somewhere he hopefully won't look (;)).

"Good morning." She says with a smile which widens as Yasir descends the stairs. "I'll just put this out there, did anyone else have bad dreams?"

[Ooc: should I presume she hides it where it was last night after she recovered it?]

Useful, huh... Elsa muses. The only thing I can think of is that silver weapons might be used in a special ceremony... or against imps and devils and certain undead... I think...

[Jenara]

(Ooc: Hence the wink)

"That makes sense, i knew there had to be a reason to carry silver weapons."

[Nocturno]

"What ever you ladies are having, I will have 2! And some nice thick coffee to drink, like we would make on the trail!!Ilovecoffee,dontyouloveoffee? Heywheredidyourdaggergo? Thatisaprettydagger,isitsilverorjustreallyshiny? Howdidyousleep,Isleptwell. ExceptIhadadreamthat,thatwolfhadmyshoulderinit'smouthagain, andElsawasthere,andshegottornlimbfromlimb,andIwassad,Ijustjust..." He will trail off looking rather somber for a Kender who just discussed coffee.

"What dagger?" She asks with a smirk, "Well, we are all here, Elsa is all here, her robe mended." Pulling at the now repaired fabric she gives him a serious look. "If we all look after each other, and respect each others things, I'm sure Elsa's limbs will remain as they are."
