Seeing his two teammates being ensnared from their hasty charge, Fikod hangs where he is in order to pepper the beast with another crossbow bolt.

Thuskar and Imani struggle in vain to escape the creature's binding, barbed tentacles. In fact, struggling only seems to worsen the pain, as Babushka well knows from first hand experience.
Summoning all of his arcane energies, empowered by the red and white moons, Jerrard unleashes another barrage of magic missiles. These ones blast into the creature with such force, it nearly topples over from the impact.
Babushka and Fikod both fire, the latter missing and the former accidentally hitting Ulster in the back. Luckily, his armor absorbs the worst of it, but he still cries out. "Why do people keep shooting me?!"
Ignoring the pain, Ulster runs forward. Once he has the momentum, he leaps into the air and slams his sword downward, cutting deeply into the creature despite the rusty appearance of his blade. The creature spurts blood profusely, screeching. Slowly, it lowers and releases Imani and Thuskar before toppling over with a loud crash, then going completely still.

"The moon's are helping, I can feel the power." Jerrard comments, offering Imani an arm as he pushes the branches away with his blade. "Lets find what it was hiding, and find a safe place to rest."

Imani remains on her hands and knees for a few moments as she tries to recover from what happened. There were a few marks on her body where the barbs from the tentacles pierced into her skin, some of which were still bleeding a little bit. "I'll, um, be okay," she says as she waves off Jerrard's arm and pushes herself up. "You guys look through all that stuff that thing was guarding, and see if you can use any of it."

Locky uses a couple of light cure spells on Thuskar, but they barely help at all. He nods his thanks anyway, still bleeding from a number of spots where the barbed tentacles pierced his skin. Babushka, meanwhile, helps bandage Ulster up from the wound she inflicted on him by accident. Her administrations help a little, but don't fully heal the wound.
Sifting through the muck, the party finds the following items: 125 steel pieces, 500 gold pieces, 200 platinum pieces, elven sized studded leather armor, elven sized leather armor, a pair of bracers, a rather spooky looking mask, a long sword, a waterskin, and an ornate ring.
===========
Locky casts
Cure Light Wounds on Thuskar twice, for a total of (2d8): 4 HP restored.
Babushka makes a healing check [12] on Ulster (1d20): 10, pass, restoring (
1d3): 3 HP.

"Do we know if any of this stuff is magical?" Imani asks as she looks over all the stuff. "And what is with the mask?"

Fikod sinks onto his haunches near the creature's body, poking it with the point of a bolt. He laughs, standing and strolling to the rest of the party near the treasure. "Yer a fearsome warrior indeed, Thuskar! As long as ye'd have rushed to me aid just as quickly." He chuckles, twirling the bolt between his fingers only to disappear it a moment later. "And is that glorious bounty I se- GREYCAP!"
Jumping to alertness he spins to find his beast of burden.

How much too large is the studded leather armor for Babushka? After all, elves are slender and gnomes stout. Are there any pieces adjustable to give her at least a little better protection?
Babushka picks up the waterskin. "Can you create water into here?" she asks Locky.

Picking up the mask Jerrard utters the words to enable him to detect magical auras around him (Detect magic:
1d100=67 fails to detect school)
What is the mask made of?
"Imani if one of these come out as magical, once I have identified it, you should wear some, please?" He comments, scanning both suits of armor.
