The Dried Oasis.

[Jenara]

"Personal assistant? Trust me, that is not a role that would suit me, on that subject please tell your men to treat me with a little respect? The sniggers are not acceptable."

Turning to Hrothgar she adds "Could you talk to the Ranger? Ask him what his plans are? I am less... able in a straight up fight, help will be needed."

"Is your Woodsman friend still out there somewhere?" She asks Gelpas.

[Korgen]

Gelpas nods lightly to the request, pondering the where abouts of the woodmen. " No idea. He tends to stay out there for long periods of time."

[Jenara]

"I will find him." She responds, "Ahh yes, before that, you owe me dinner." She grins.

[Korgen]

Gelpas grins lightly. " Oh that's right, our little date. Give me a little bit more time and I meet you at the tavern. Also, I have a man who can most likely help you." Gelpas yells loudly, instructing the monk to come in.

[JadedDM]

Toru steps inside, back straight and head held high, his eyes straight forward at the captain. He doesn't spare the girl a glance. "Yes, Captain Gelpas?" he asks, standing at full attention.

[Korgen]

The captain nods slowly. " This is Toru. He's impressive, and very useful. Toru, she's leading a mission into the bandit encampment. Without much help. I can't spare any men. But you can go in my place. I'll pay you all for the trouble if you manage to get them off our backs. I don't relly care how you do it."

[JadedDM]

Toru looks toward the woman for the first time, taking her in. His face remains completely impassive. Then he looks back to the captain. "As you command, Captain Gelpas. We shall end the bandit threat to this town." He inclines his head slightly to the captain, before turning back to Hazel.

[Jenara]

"Midnight, call me Midnight." The woman says smoothing down her long black hair, adjusting her blade she does not offer her pale white hand, choosing to keep most of herself hidden.

"This is Hrothgar, he too has proved useful." She introduces the warrior with a dismissive wave of her hand.

"Date?" She asks, looking at the Captain, "I don't understand the reference, but you are buying me food. It's that simple." Still she winks, giving him a sideways glance.

"So? What's your story?" She asks the monk curiously.

[The_Muffin_Man]

Hrothgar nods to the other man, his arms crossed in front of his chest as he leans casually against the wall.

"I haven't seen Misha much since we got into town. Is he still just at the inn?"

Hrothgar turns then to the Captain, "By the way, does your town sell any larger weapons? When I left my people they handed me this... (he jingles his shortsword)... carving knife I guess. I'd like something a little larger."

[Jenara]

"I think he is..." Hazel suggests, "We will go and see soon."

[Korgen]

The capatain nods lightly " You should talk to the blacksmith. He's at the eastern edge of town. No idea what he has in stock."

[JadedDM]

"I am Toru Taramoku," he says, bowing slightly to Hazel and then again to Hrothgar. "I arrived in this village a few months ago, and have been assisting Captain Gelpas since then."

[The_Muffin_Man]

Hrothgar brightens up. "A smith you say? Perhaps he and I can share notes." He turns to Midnight. "Can I meet you back at the inn? I would love to go and talk with this smith."

[Jenara]

"Of course, I need to talk to Mary, that girl knows more than she is letting on.." Turning to Toru she nods. "Then I'm sure you will be useful to me too."

"If that is all, I will return to the inn, do you wish to meet us there?" She asks the others

"I shall accompany you," Toru says to the young woman.
