The Fearless Cleric tosses the weapon to her! He tries not to impale her. (( Dex Check 16? To Hit of 15? Whatever might apply. )) Calling out, he says in the open. "On its way."

(OOC - going for the eyes again? Ok)
*The tip of the sword deflects off the ruby eyes once again. The previously distracted snake is now aware that its head is still being held by Bjarg, and that its body is still coiled around him. It begins tightening up around the fighter.*
*The tail goes under Sim's body, lifts him up and rolls the mage away; it now concentrates entirely on Bjarg.*
*The wolf pokes her head through a wall and eyes Snickerpuss.* "Well my little one, with a lick of my tongue, you would become an appetizer. But you are lucky, for I crave larger meat. As to your friends, if only the snake was of a smaller, manageable size."
(OOC - mouse is the language being used)

Sim tumbles out of the way, hoping he dosen't inadvertantly hit a wall and unleash another nasty surprise. Once his head has cleared he shouts out. "No you nimrods! Of all the simple minded...do ya have sences in that head O' yers or is that bark I hear rattelin! PRY OUT the eyes, ya leaf eater! PRY, an try not to chip them gems. I need em for my spells! Snick! Snick, where ya gone to ya scrawny rodent!? SNICK!
Sim's cantankerous old voice seems tinged with a bit of worry but it could just be the trauma of what he's just been through. Still he, staggers to his feet and sidesteps away from the fray and toward the nearest door.
..................................The mind of a mouse. It is small, but mice use more than Humans do and A familiar has an even greater understanding of the world around it. In Snikerpuss' case. Greater than most. Strange you might think, that a mouse should keep a man able bodied but it is true. Snickerpuss has daily kept a mental log of where Sim places his odds and ends. Reminds him to take his vitamines and eat his meals. She keeps his glasses safe when he's dozed off and helps him in a myrid little ways that one might overlook. And so it is because of this that she knows.....Sim kept the potions. And she remembered them as he identified them while resting outside.
It was a little difficult but there was a song once sung by a bard.
".......one to make you larger and one to make you small and the ones that mother gives you......" Of course!
Snickerpuss quickly darts over to Sim (and away from the awful teeth of the wolf) and makes her way up his wet robe to the backpack on his shoulder, hoping the potions haven't been shattered in the melee.

"What do you think I'm
trying to do!" Esse shouts
[ooc]said i was gouging out its eyes in brainstorming, thought i said it here too[/ooc]
Edit by LWW: see comment on Brainstorm thread regarding not stating this action.
(Edit by Jen: No problem.. like I said in brainstorming I thought I did, but I didn't.)
While Bjarg holds onto the snakes head Esse will attempt to pull the gemstone eyes out.
[ooc]What roll? over under?[/ooc]
Edit by LWW: None, I will determine whether you succeed or not. I am the one who is supposed to be doing all the rolling in the first place, unless I state otherwise.
(Edit by Jen: Again no problem..)

*Esse finally succeeds in removing the rubies from the snake's head. Its head and body crumble into dust, covering Bjarg with it, and causing him to sneeze, choke and be blinded before the raining beer turns it into a gummy paste.*
(OOC - The raining beer, and the dust effects on Bjarg will last one round of posting)
(OOC - please see post in Brainstorm thread)

Giving a quick woop, Esse takes both Rubies, throwing one at Sim, and the other at Bjarg "You nearly got killed by it, you deserve these". She'll also scoot up the diamond Bjarg dropped earlier
[ooc] I assume he dropped it because he didn't pick it up, can she find it? [/ooc]
As for actions, she doesn't intend on leaving, but snakes, and big ones aren't her.
"Ok, look, Snakes - Me, we don't get on, now I'm not going back, but I'm not sticking around here, our friend over here.." She points to Sim "Nearly got killed by that thing. How you doing?" She asks politely.
"We have a door behind us (north), or one at the end (west). I'm using one of those, i would say the north as a preference because its closest away from these damn snakes, but hey, I got a creepy feeling about that"
Esse helps Bjarg to his feet and checks both doors for traps, then she'll wait for the rest of the group to act.

Beillion asks the group. "Anyone need a touch of healing before decide? If not, I would not mind mucking with the paintings for a few. There seems to be some decent reward for it. We can play with them while we decide what door to take." He inspects Sim for injuries.

"I was thinking: we could touch all the murals, let all the snakes out at once, and run out of the room. When they were done killing each other, we could come back and finish off the last one. Could be a big payoff for us.
"After all, we dealt with the first two easily enough, once we figured out how.
"No? Fine. Leave money behind on the table if you like.
Martin strides around the room, looking at the various doors, starting with the one to the west.

Beillion raises an eyebrow at the idea. "How many monsters would that be, again?" He eyes the nearest mural. The question is mostly rhetorical, but he is checking out the nearest mural.

"Five I think. Hey, while I like the idea of getting them all to fight each other, we have no idea if they'd do that...!"
"What do you think Loincloth?" She nudges Bjarg and then returns her attention to searching for traps at both doors in turn.

Bjarg stares vacantly into space, "I hate snakes". After a moment he glances down at the ruby in his palm and suddenly snaps out of his reverie. "I LOVE snakes!!!"
He places the ruby in his pouch and retrieves his shield and club. "What happens if we manage to find a poisonous one, though?"

"I just have this feeling that if we meet another one it won't be as easy to kill!" She laughs loudly, talking to Bjarg over her shoulder. "Because that one was a breeze wasn't it?"
"So, what do you guys want to do? I won't try to lead you, you seem to have it sorted out for yourselves/ Consider that I'm just along for the ride."

*The door at the northern wall is made of solid oak with an iron door handle and hinges; there is no lock on this door.*
*The western door is also made of solid oak, but there are 3 padlocks at 2' intervals, but anyone can see that they can be easily picked, or even broken off, as they are made of cheap tin.*
*Esse previously stated that she was checking the doors, and finds that neither one is trapped.*

"I tend to distrust things that are too easy, on account of there was this girl, you see, and, well...nevermind.
"This looks too easy. One door without no lock and one door with three locks, but they are useless. Makes you wonder why they are there, doesn't it? I mean, in terms of what purpose are they intended to serve, not in terms of existentialism."

"I have known many girl's like that... " She smiles wickedly, licking her lips.. "Many a barmaid has fallen to my charms Master Jester."
Flashing Bjarg a smile she returns her attention to the doors.
"There are no traps, the door to the north is easy, the door to the west is easily broken... I vote west, I feel... something evil about the north."
