Sue will watch for any other threats, instead of trying to squeeze by on the walkway.

If nothing is apparent he will look further down to see if there is a crossing.

"You got that handled?"

Round 3

Jim turns and successfully throws two more darts at the remaining tentacled beast causing it to hiss and then fall back into the vile pool. [#T2, 9 pierce, 9 pierce]
The creatrue is either dead or a very good actor.

End of combat

Sue nips off down the southeastern tunnel. After travelling about sixty feet he sees no sign of any way to cross the channel of grainy, odrous sludge that flows further southeast.
Meanwhile Darren closes off his pink rose light and starts to cast a spell.
Two of the dead creatures bob about on the surface of the sewer pool, one [#T3 ]inching its way towards the southwestern exit tunnel and the other [#T2] migrating towards the southeastern exit taken by Sue.
The third creature [#T1] is almost captured by the slow but insistant flow to the southeast.

What next?

======
Each PC gains 257 xp

***
Spellcraft check from Woody or Jim, DC11, shows Darren's spell is Cure Wounds. [Darren gains 11HP]

Nothing close by to get across. Does anyone have any ideas?"

"We could try walking across but I don't like that idea. We don't know how deep it is and how poisonous it is."

Chris: How far is the other side of the tunnel from where we are at to the ladder that is going up?

"We could try to throw a rope with a hook to the other side. If it works I might be able to swing across. Before swinging across I could cast tenser's floating disk. Both of you could get on as long as your combined weigh is below 500 pounds with your equipment." The disk will follow me. This sounds like a bad idea to me as I'm not that athletic or acrobatic."

"We could continue going in the direction we are going and hopefully their might be a turn off in the right direction. I'm open to ideas."

The southeastern tunnel is twenty foot wide and each walkway is three foot, so 14 foot gap.

Sue will look up for anywhere he can attach a rope so Woody could swing across.

"Think you could hold onto the rope long enough? I like the disk idea. What about a way to make you fly? You always talked about making yourself fly when we were growing up."

Woody will start the ritual casting for the floating disk while Sue and Jim attempt to through the rope across with a grappling hook.

"Also Sue, you could hammer a few nails into the wall in an angle and tie the rope to it while I get across. When you are ready to come across you can untie the rope from the nails and come across holding the rope. That way you get to keep your rope."

Sue has a good look around for a place with which to grapple.
Realistically the only visible place that a grappling hook might find reliable purchase is the iron ladder some fifteen foot or so distant.

Tenser's Disc wll float three feet above the ground, not above liquid.

I guess my plan will not work. Let's continue down the coordinator unless we want to try to get across.

Sue will take his Glaive, and try to see if he can get a feel for how deep the awful offal is.
