Good news is I landed a new job last Thursday.

Sorry to hear of your loss Stik. Doesn't that seem the way of balance though, just as you think you've hit the positive end of life and all is good, something happens to bring you back to the center.

No consolation though when it comes to grief to hear, "well, for every good thing there must be a bad thing". So many times good achievements in my life have been mared by the death of a beloved pet, or someone close to me, and in my grief I cannot understand the fairness of it at all.

It's just that being back to work has caused certain...adjustments in my life.
