The sword is quite large; far too big for the kender to wield properly. But by wrapping his arms around the scabbard, he manages to awkwardly lift it off the dead elf's lap.

"Tas! That is Wyrmslayer, the mighty Sword of Kith-Kanan." Laurana moves quickly, reaching out her hands for the blade. "Please Tas?"

"He oversaw the building of this fortress, these must be his burial chamber.." She strokes her hand near his form, "My Lord." She bows in reverence, "I am not worthy of being here, I hope to fix that."
" Kid never learned to clear a room. Doors and corners, I told him. Doors and corners."

"I was a dragon, after all." Tas proclaims and tries to lift it above his shoulders. Failing, he drags it her way and asks, "Can we get like two dragons, then? We could fight them one at a time and maybe get in some ghosts, too. I bet this place has lots of ghosts." He stops and looks around. "Spiders, too! I expected at least one of them to jump out at me when I pulled the sword." He explains as he drags it to her person.

Goldmoon's hand had clasped around her holy symbol, almost expecting something terrible to happen when Tas touched the sword. Her hand grips the staff harder, but she doesn't say anything.

Kith-Kanan does not seem to hold any objection to his sword being taken, largely because he has been dead for a few centuries now. Nor does he seem to mind when the kender hands it over to the former princess.

However, the blade is much too large and unwieldy for the elven woman to properly use. She had only been trained with smaller blades, like daggers and short swords.

"So do I, Sturm," Tika says to the knight. Though, she seems a little distracted by the sword. Taking a deep breath, she walks over to Laurana. "May I try?" she asks, motioning to the sword.

OOC: Tika does, Nuke.

"Oh!" Tas says as he grows excited. "Let's go back the other way, then. They would have taken this if they had seen it. We should go straight there. Absolutely."

Caramon looks down at the kender in befuddlement. "They? Who are they?" he asks in reference to the kender's exclamation that 'they' would have taken the sword had 'they' come through this way.

Goldmoon murmurs a quiet prayer of thanks to Mishakal and all the other Gods for letting them find a powerful artefact that will probably help their quest, and asks for guidance.

"Let us explore this chamber first" Goldmoon suggests and moves further south, to illuminate more of the room.

Goldmoon cannot move further south, as there is a wall. Instead, she heads west to explore the rest of the chamber. She spots a pair of bronze doors, well-tarnished, and covered with a relief drawing of a fortress--likely Pax Tharkas.

(OOC: Make sure to note which way North is on the map.)

Goldmoon approaches the double doors to take a closer look "Look! This is a picture of the fortress!" she calls out to the others. "Let's look at it closely, it may help us!"

(OOC: sorry, I know bronze relief maps of fortresses and cities, that was the picture that came to my mind first)

(OOC: Oh, uh...I never said it was a map. It's just a relief drawing of the fortress' exterior.)

Laurana passes the sword to Tika, part of her really thinks it should be left where it was, but they were fighting a war, weapons of hope may change the tide, even slightly.

"Be careful, it is no doubt enchanted, we have no idea what might have happened over the years."

Taking Magpies hand she moves to the doors and the drawing. (Is there any writing on it?)

------
(Jerrard)
"Tika, you never cease to amaze me." Sturm looks around suddenly nervous, was this grave robbing?
" Kid never learned to clear a room. Doors and corners, I told him. Doors and corners."

"Them, of course." Tas says cheerfully. He looks around and makes scary sounds while sneaking over the floor towards the rubble looking for things. "I'm sure somebody has been through here. So, it has to be them." He pauses to think about it for a second. "Unless of course, we are the first people. Then, we are not likely to find much else but spiders which great, too. I don't mind spiders."
