"Locky, if you can, can you heal up those that need it before we set off again?" Imani asks.

"I can do something, not much, but it could help." Locky says as leans in close to Dara, casting Cure Light x2 (
1d8=2 +
1d8=4 = 6hp)
She casts cure light on Ulster (
1d8=8 = 8hp)

"Sorry, I left the quiver for you, you were out of arrows." Jerrard says as he moves closer to the group, "I have to admit that that was far easier, because of Imani's planning, and Dara's skill." He smiles and nods. "Let us move on."

After Locky patches up Dara and Ulster a bit, the group continues on. Luckily, they don't run afoul of anything else the rest of the day.
By the time night falls, they are quite worn out. Noting this, Dara calls for a halt for the night. "We should rest now. I think I can get us there tomorrow, once morning returns," she states. She looks out into the forest, shifting weight from leg to another, before helping break camp.
"Shall we set the watch then?" Thuskar asks.
==============
Locky casts Cure Light Wounds (x2) on Dara, restoring (2d8): 6 HP.
Locky casts Cure Light Wounds on Ulster, restoring (1d8): 8 HP.
It is now Twelfth Watch (6:00 PM).

Fikod grumbles in a good-natured way about their day of trekking, noting specifically the endless beating of the sun, the roots designed to catch and hold broad dwarven feet, and the utter lack of bearings one has without the comforting blanket of earth above. On this last subject he expounds upon, at length, how one can really feel their surroundings in a way impossible under such an endlessly high ceiling.

Babushka listens to Fikod's ramblings, smiling now and then. "It felt strange to me to be outside at first, too. I hid from other kids who were teasing me all the time" she explains. "But after a while, I adjusted to it, and learned how to read the signs under the skies. If you're interested, you can learn that as well."
Seeing Dara shifting when they get ready to camp, she approaches her quietly and asks: "Is there anyting?"

(once she had healed who she could, Locky was going to search the ogres, you moved on before I could say. )

Shifting a bit uncomfortably as Breila offers a reasonable and useful solution to his problems, Fikod lets out a long defeated sigh since he can no longer enjoy his grumbling. "Aye, supposin' I could. May be up here for some time at that. But me old head is full and forgetful in its old age." He brightens considerably, having found a new subject to gripe about. "And let us not discount the prodigious influence of alcohol."

"This forest does seem to go on forever in all directions," Thuskar says regarding Fikod's complaints.
"And still not enough room for the elves to share," notes Jeremy somewhat bitterly.
"Anything..?" Dara asks, not following Babushka's question.
"Alright, let's have Locky and Jerrard take first watch," says Imani, "so they can then get plenty of rest for spells tomorrow. "Then Ulster and Babushka, Thuskar and Dara, and me and Fikod can take the last--that way every watch has at least one person who can see in the dark. And Jeremy can spend some time hunting and gathering for us. Sound good?"
==========
(OOC: Was there some reason you couldn't have mentioned the ogre searching in the same post with the healing? Jerrard outright said 'Let us move on,' so, I assumed you were done. In any case, the ogres didn't have anything really worth taking, so no loss.)

(Yeah, no loss, and I have no idea why I didnt mention it)
"That sounds like a good idea." Locky agrees, settling down to take watch as suggested. "I think she meant do you see anything out there? Its all pretty quiet isn't it?" Getting her Hoopak she wedges it in the ground. "I am thinking I might like this forest, after all."

"You have alcohol?" Jerrard asks giving Fikod an amused look, "The forest isn't all that bad, I suppose." He sits down on the grass, taking his pipe from his pouch and lighting it up. "I am concerned for Malika to be honest, she might stay with the Centuars."

Fikod puffs at his mustachios in a forlorn sort of manner, setting them gently asway as he regards Jerrard. "Would that I did. Last proper drink was some weeks ago, and this thin fluid we call water is just as likely to drive a dwarf insane as it is to sate his thirst." He looks at Imani hopefully. "P'raps a little nip during our watch is in order? I hope ye've been stashing a flask for just such an occaison."

1d8=4, 1d8=4
Praying to Paladine Locky heals herself with one of her last spells, and Dara (who I assume still looks injured) with the other. She also tends to any wounds she can
1d100=83, 1d100=77
Reaching into her pouches she fumbles around, searching.. "Drink, I wonder.." After much fumbling she produces a small scroll of paper and a broken chalk. "No, not drink."

"Alas no, anything like that was on our mounts." Jerrard responds, eying the scroll locky produces, "I have my only vice here, my pipe." Puffing slowly he offers it to the Dwarf.

"The watches sound good to me" Babushka agrees. "But Jeremy shouldn't go foraging alone any more than I should. Let's make a quick survey while the others set up camp" she suggests to the woodsman.
