"I'd like to move somewhere with food... and with more drink" Oceanus says. He gets up carefully, visibly in pain from cramps, but trying to maintain his dignity. "Oh, you've found my weapons!" He is delighted to see them in the next room.

"If you let me aid you, your dignity is assured.." Brax offers an arm to steady him, "Pelor teaches to offer all aid." Smiling she gives Kulop a smile. "Well done, now we just have to remove the chains."

"Blimmin ek!" Gustas yells in response to the floorboards being torn free, "That's a pub trick n a half if I ever "

As the pair move out of the room, he slips in to inspect the shattered wood in awe, before catching the pair up again. He considered offering a steading arm too, but spends more time catching his own balance to be of any real use.

Kulop looks up in surprise, "What happened? You were not chained to the boards after all? Why did you just sit there then?" after peeking to the next room and seeing Brax exhaling he figures out what happened and loses his tongue, "Ehha... ohh.. well, you are defiantly gifted." When Oceanus come closer, Kulop moves his findings away, "Are you sure it's YOUR weapons? And the box? Is it yours too? What's in the box? Surely not pieces of eight..." He looks angrily at the parrot.

"Yes those are his, would he say otherwise?" She reaches out her arm for the weapons, "Gifted? A curse from my human father, one that made me a target."

"Please." She motions to the nearest place to sit, "rest, I will find water and food" she adds patting Oceanus gently.

Oceanus sits down wearily. "The weapon is mine, but the box is not. I have no idea what could be in there."

"Then perhaps that is where we will find the key.." Brax suggests as she moves towards the box.

"Could be. Come here and check." Kulop waits until Brax comes close to him and ask her whispering, "Can we trust him with his weapons?"

"Right now, unless I am very mistaken he couldn't hurt a fly." She whispers softly, "I will carry your weapons if you permit me to assist you?" She returns her attention to Oceanus, "You mentioned food? Sadly I fear such a thing would be hard to come by at this point in time. I will ask one of the guards to contact the inn.. They should be able to assist."

Kulop searches his pockets and produces some remnants of bread, cheese and apple. Non of these remnants would make a mouse belly full, but together it can count for something.

Oceanus accepts the remnants gratefully. "Ssank youi" he says to Kulop, then turns to Brax. "Please tell him I appreciate his generosity."

The metal box is locked, of course Kulop can try his skills on the lock.

"If it is all the same, Radiance, his weapons stay right where they are for now. We do not know him, nor do we what he wants, nor what he is doing here. If I were the last surviving member of a smuggler crew, I might hide here and fake being imprisoned to disassossassossacociate myself from my compatriots.
"No offense meant, friend, but I know a hawk from a handsaw.

"So.. The box is not yours..." Kulop's eyes sparkle with joy. "It could be mine... After all I have so many boxes I keep forget where I put them. Let me check it." Kulop looks at the box from all sides, appreciating form and decorations. He then tries to search for traps and springs.

The box is a very simple and sturdy affair. However, Kulop senses that he has just the right key somewhere on him and indeed, he manages to open the lock without problems. He finds that the weight of the box is due to its content of silver pieces of an unfamiliar mint. Indeed, the symbol on them looks somehow like an eight, but is flatter.

(OOC: I'm sorry, I was certain I had posted this and was waiting for your answers!)

"I did not hear you reappear." Brax frowns, her brow creasing as the jester speaks. "He is under the protection of Pelor, my lord is watching over him." Shooting him a smug smile she shakes her head. "As you would have heard if you were here, I am assisting him."

"Money.. No doubt blood money, or the pieces of eight.." Her hand comes up to strike her forehead. "Pieces of eight indeed."

"Did you find any tools? Otherwise I will escort Oceanus to someone who can aid him." She adds talking to Martin.
